ANGEL WALTON
I am thirty years old, I am the only son of the Walton family, what I want most in life is to be a father, a dream that has not been fulfilled for various reasons, at first I dedicated myself only to my career to get to the top and then to support myself, When I was already there my grandfather and my parents put me in charge of their companies to reward me for having made my fortune without their help, then the women who approached me were only models who would not damage their body with a pregnancy or joke so none of them got pregnant with me, then I had a couple of girlfriends who seemed decent and would be good mothers, but they turned out to be sluts that I found with others in bed and finally there was Carla Rios who was my girlfriend for the last three years I thought she would be the mother of my children in fact she was pregnant, but she called me telling me she had a miscarriage that devastated me, I called my friend and almost sister Paola koch who is an excellent OB/GYN to check her out but she gave me some news that made me hate Carla, she told me that Carla caused the miscarriage, I confronted Carla and she did not deny it she told me she did not want children, she was only 24 years old and she was not willing to harm her body now, I wanted to kill her but my friend stopped me and advised me to stay away from her.
Today I decided that if I haven't found the perfect woman to be my wife and mother of my children it's for a reason, maybe I don't need to get married to be a father, today I decided to rent a womb and have a child that only belongs to me so that no woman can come to destroy my life or that's what I planned.
When I was arriving at the clinic where my best friend Paola Koch works, I saw a pregnant girl in a lot of pain, I went to help her and she didn't want to go in because she didn't have money to pay, I told her not to worry and took her in my arms, I went with her to the hospital and everyone looked at me surprised, especially Paola who approached me quickly.
"what's wrong with him? asked paola***."
"I don't know, I found her in pain in the street, they come with a stretcher for her and I place her there."
She was quickly taken to a room, where the girl lost consciousness and that made me worry.
"what's wrong with him?," ask.
"I don't know, but I think we should take the baby out, you brought her here, you have to sign as responsible in case something happens," said paola.
"but I don't know her," respond.
"so you want us to let them both die," paola said.
"of course not, where I sign," *responded* *quickly*.
"the nurse will take you to sign and fill out everything you have to sign now I can't waste any more time, we will take her to the operating room," paola.
A nurse took me to fill out the girl's admission and of course I didn't know anything about the girl, but I signed as responsible for her and her baby, a nurse came out of the operating room with the girl's documents and they reviewed them to fill out her medical history.
The girl's name is Sol ortega and she is only sixteen years old, she is a girl who is about to become a mother, how could this happen to her, where are her parents, where is the baby's father, why was she alone in the street, these are questions that only she can answer.
"Sir, we found this in the girl's purse, a nurse hands me a notebook and when I open it there are several phone numbers but there is one that caught my attention, the one that says mansion ortega***."
I decided to call maybe it was her house and her family is worried about her.
📱- mansion ortega who would you like to talk to, - answered a woman I guess the employee.
📱- good evening I would like to speak to Sol ortega's parents ,- respondi.
📱- wait a moment,- there was silence for a few seconds until a man answered.
📱- who is this?"- an angry male voice spoke.
📱- sir I am speaking from the hospital it is about your daughter and grandson ,- try to explain but I won't let you.
"Listen to me carefully, don't call this house again, Sol Ortega is dead to all members of this family, and we don't care what happens to her or her bastard," the man spat and hung up the phone.
I filled with anger at how that man spoke about the innocent baby who is fighting alongside his mother. I long to be a father, my parents long to be grandparents, and that man chose to declare his daughter dead and disown his grandchild. If I had him in front of me, I would punch him for being an idiot.
I waited in the waiting room for several hours until Paola came out, looking exhausted.
"How are they?" I asked.
"They're both stable for now. It's a girl, but she's premature, which is why she's in the incubator. She's also very thin, and it's obvious that both of them lacked proper care. There wasn't good nutrition. It's a miracle that they're still breathing," Paola replied.
"I think she lives on the streets. I called her parents, and they said she's dead to them and they don't care what happens to the baby," I commented.
"Despicable," Paola said angrily.
"Yeah, I want to punch them too," I commented.
"Come, there's someone I'm sure you'll love," Paola didn't let me speak and led me to where the premature babies were.
"Is this her?" I asked, seeing the only girl in the incubator.
"Yes, she's small and needs to regain weight, but it's clear that she'll be very strong. She looks a lot like her mom. Both of them are fighting to survive," Paola said.
"She's a lovely girl," I commented, mesmerized by the beautiful girl in front of me.
How can such a small and thin little thing make me feel so much? Who wouldn't want such a pretty doll? She's beautiful.
"Come," Paola takes me to change and allows me to enter the incubator. She lets me touch her through a small window.
"She's so fragile," I commented.
"Both of them are, and both need protection, and she needs a dad," Paola said.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked.
"Have you seen the news?" Paola asked.
"No, and don't tell me you saw them in the operating room," I spoke while still looking at the baby.
"No, but I checked my phone. Come, let's go to my office so you can see," Paola said.
We went to her office, and she showed me the news on her computer, where the headlines were unbelievable.
I was paralyzed, looking at the image of him entering the clinic carrying Sol, and how Paola quickly took her to a room. There's also a picture of me filling out the necessary documentation for her admission. This is crazy.
