V:Iris : (Al)

A phone vibrates upon a bedside table, the screen displaying the title 'Unknown Number' as it buzzes, footsteps quickly approach the bedroom before swinging the door open and walking to the phone.

Hesitation before answering, Al looks outside the window and sits on the bed.

"Hello…" Al says shaking

"Hi…umm I don't know how to simply put it…but your brother he has…passed away just now." says the caller.

Al's eyes slowly glide down to the floorboards, his pupils darkening.

He throws the phone across the room, his veins pulse with rage, tears streaming down.

Al grips his shirt, and stands up, walking towards the door frame, slamming the door after exiting the room.

His anger continuously growing stronger, Al walks towards the front door, opening it he walks outside and gets to his car, he kicks it.

The car rolls a few times before rolling back onto its wheels, a massive dent visible from where he kicked.

Al looks at his hands and legs, he was shocked by what had just happened.

Al sprints off to see what else has changed, he was moving at high speeds of what he could guess would be just over 120 kilometers per hour.

He continues running until he reaches the hospital, a second story window breaks, raining glass from above, a creature pulls itself out of the window frame with its 3 finger shaped claws and spreads skin like wings out and flaps them about, it slowly stops its falling and starts to glide up.

Al watches it fly away before bursting through the hospitals doors, immediately the smell of blood invades his nose.

A nurse runs from the right hallway to behind the front counter, screaming she looks back and starts to say pleads to some unknown figure, it's shadow growing with each step as it makes its way into the main entrance waiting lobby.

The appearance of the creature was horrific,

it's skin brown with black spots, its mouth was a hole filled with endless seams of teeth, it walked its famine bony body on all fours, its big head taking the shape of a dog but with visible signs of mutations, 4 sets of eyes on each side of the head.

It lunches its massive body at the nurse, grabbing her with one arm that immediately started mutation to change into a human hand type shaped.

The nurse shrieks before entering its gasping mouth, blood flickers across the room as the teeth shred at such a violent pace.

Al quietly tries to enter the right hallway but one of the ceiling lights behind him starts to fall, it hangs suspended in the air before finally the last cable snaps, it hits the ground sending plastic and glass fragments across the lobby.

The beast slowly turns its head, its eyes closing and opening in desynchronization, it inhales before trying to let out a bellowing roar but only a deafening whistle escapes.

It climbs the counter and rushes at Al, Al stands and prepares to counter-attack, it reaches a clawed arm out and Al barely dodges it before going for a punch, but the beast immediately starts a mutation its arms and legs grow webbing in-between it's fingers and toes to prevent prey from dodging.

Al notices this evolution and punches the beast knowing the next attack would be a direct hit, the mutated predator flies backwards, 8 more arms spread off of its back and grab whatever they can to stop itself.

Al sprints down the hallway quickly while it gets used to its new mutation, he runs to the hospitals ward where they would keep fresh dead body's, he storms through the door and starts checking the bags names.

Screams echo the hall's, Al leans up against a wall, his brothers body was not in the room.
