Empty Void. (Vex)

Snowflakes float in the icy wind across the beach, the ocean water black and murky, bashes the shoreline as if it were trying to drag itself upon the land.

The sand, gray and red, looking like the devil had spread ashes on it, the sand crumples has something walks on it, the ocean waves covering any noise that could be made as it releases thunderous crashes on the beach.

The forest behind the shoreline sways with the frosty wind, snow falls with each sway.

"Fólkvangr…is this what it must be for thee?" says Vex, as she walks out of the forest frost.

Vex wanders onto the beach, the ocean water beats at her shins as it raises and retreats, She continues to look around at her surroundings and scopes over the ridge.

"Ah I found it Allfather, 'tis be Fólkvangr, yes" She says excitedly.

Tree's collapsed, fire spread along the battlefield, corpse's fill the burning forestry war grounds.

Vex enters what were the ancient battlefield, her feet blister from the ashes on the soil, she continues to walk before resulting to crawling on all fours.

A green mist leaks from a warriors eyes, Vex notices it up ahead of her and stares, she approaches it slowly, sniffing the corpse.

The green mist thickens, becoming a humanoid shape, it let's out a bellowing Shrieking cry before wrapping itself around the body it came from.

The Corpse's eyes glow Blue, it starts to stand all while pulling out the spear that had lodged it stuck to the ground, it Shrieks once more.

The other corpses as if been reanimated start to stand, one other the other, picking up scattered weaponry to battle.

"I am beast nay prey, I am hunter nay prey, SKEMTILIGR!" shouts Vex.

Her head starts to twitch, antlers pierce from her forehead, her skin blackens.

Finger nails grow long and rugged, the front of her face ruptures, skin and flesh fall to the burning ground, an animal skull remaining.

It roars, shaking the forest outside the battlefield, rushing to a dead warrior vex picks it up with little effort and rips it into two halves before sprinting to the next.

Teeth breaking the armor and sinking into rotting flesh, Vex tears the arm off and shreds the remaining armor on it before eating the dead tissue and muscle.

"I command you to STOP!" a dooming voice yells.

The warriors body's fall to the ground lifelessly once more, Vex crawls looking for the dooming character while holding the arm tightly still.

"This is not your land traitor, I know what you did and so does everybody else in the hierarchy above the savagery classification." it says.

"My name is Alex." the person says.

Vex merely stares watching Alex's movements through the now thickened snow storm, Vex drops onto all fours, head hung low, blood drips from the eyeholes of the animal skull, her ribs becoming more visible.

"Your Gift is a curse, don't you see that? It does more harm than good" Alex says coming to view from the snow.

Alex's hair flows freely in the wild wind, her eyes yellow and orange.

"I protect this old battlefield from intruders, so do not see me fit for a fight, what is your reasoning for being on this land" She says calmly.

Vex slowly stands up, the sound of a whistle can be heard through the animal skulls hollowed out eyes as the wind whips in and out.

She puts a hand onto the front of the skull and raises it, the skull falls from her head, as it falls it fades away into tiny cyan particles.

Vex's skin starts to spread across her face and the blackened coloring disappears, her hair starts to grow back rapidly, a silky gray asymmetrical pixie cut waved in the snow breeze, Her eyes glow green with a hint of blue.

They stand staring at each other, the forest shaking around them, the fire still burning.

"I come, for this be Fólkvangr." Vex says coldly.

"What be if this does not be Fólkvangr?" Alex responds.

"Then thy leave, go far, far away from tis and continue on journey." Vex says.

Alex shakes her head.

" This is not Fólkvangr."

"What is this Fólkvangr which you speak of?" Alex asks.

"It do not need to be spread around, I alone must find it." says Vex walking away, her feet burning from the flames.

Alex watches as Vex leaves the battlegrounds before walking back into the storming snow, the snow continues to thicken before long covering the grounds.
