Deathless path (Wakasa)

Clouds spread across the sky, dark and gloomy they move with the wind.

A blimp busts its way through the clouds, the city below becomes cloaked by its shadow, eating away at the light that shines down.

The people aboard look down while muttering comments about the cityscape, the city built on hovering machinery to keep it safe from the black mist that leaks beneath it, lights scatter on the surface of the mist, keeping it from climbing up.

"Do you know why it have lights?" one asks another.

"it be said that there lurks a beast within the mist, without light it would drag the city down with minimal effort my lady" someone replied.

The blimp slowly began its fall as it reached a landing bay upon the city, thunder crackles above.

Wakasa sat in the large open hallway, greeting and bidding farewell to the guest that had been aboard, turbulence striking randomly assuring that the descent was at rapid speeds.

The blimp after a few more minutes finished its fall and successfully landed, guest made their exit as the crew bid them farewells, Wakasa took a deep breath before exiting onto the long steel walkway, they pulled out a radar and watched it before putting on a gas mask and adjusting it.

Wakasa pulls an air filter out of their carry on bag and inserting it to the front of the mask.

They reach the end of the walkway and step onto the platform, walking towards the massive city towers.

Two guards stood ahead.

"State your status and reasoning of being here" says a guard.

The other stares and raises their gun

"Bit cocky aren't you, you ****" Wakasa mutters

"I am a high classification of royalty, I am here for inspections of this city."

The guards exchange glances, suddenly becoming nervous.

"Well…go ahead, enjoy your stay..." the guard says taking a step out of the way.

Wakasa pushes past, entering the city streets, people crowding the pathways and cars occupy the roads.

City floodlights flicker across the street before dancing around the buildings and sky.

Wakasa jogs along with the crowd, Their bag bouncing with each step, They walk down a nearby alleyway and flick their wrist.

A purple holographic map appears before their eyes, they move the map till it centers on a singular tower.

"Sanity fall's...interesting target name" Wakasa whispers.

"The **** you think you're doing in our territory, you masked cunt" says a figure.

Wakasa taps their wrist quickly and looks to their side, Wakasa blocks an incoming fist but still gets knocked off their feet, the figure once more approaches fast.

"You chose the wrong person to **** with yeah? Look at ya, don't stand a chance haha, once weak fucking worm" the figure says before once more landing a strike.

"You are in my way" says Wakasa muffled by the mask, standing and charging towards the now visible thug.

The thug throws another punch but Wakasa merely jumps and walks across the wall before being behind the threat, pulling a kukri knife out of the air and hacking the thugs' calf's, the thug fall's to the ground having that his legs tendons destroyed, Wakasa throws the kukri into the air, it becomes a purple rain before completely disappearing.

"How weak you are" the thug says, standing once more.

"I have regeneration and super strength, what are you going to do about that?"

Sirens sound outside the alleyway, people peering in.

Wakasa grabs the air again, for this time a Scythe appears.

"You're not the first of your kind I've killed." Wakasa says coldly.

The thug breaks a hole into the alleyways wall, rushing through it.

Police can be seen at the end of the alleyway, shield units crouched with gunmen standing behind.

Wakasa throws their hand up, a rope and anchor appears, gliding up between the opening above before propelling upwards and landing on the open building rooftop.

"Police are easily notified, that's interesting." Wakasa says.
