Sydney

I was stunned. I have never felt that before, I just had witnessed the most powerful element get claimed. I was happy and...jealous. Don’t get me wrong, I was truly happy for Cayla but I was used to being a leader of warriorship, now she was there, she led. Although I could tell she didn’t want to be, I can’t stop it.

I continued doing my duties but I kept an eye on Nyx. Why? I was curious why her wolf burst into flames when she was claimed. Legend has this sentence: 2 powerful elements will have to share the fire.

I didn’t know what that meant but I thought it was me and Nyx. I can control fire though my mother’s element wasn’t it.

Anyways, today when I was doing what I used to do, being at the archery area, I heard squealing and laughing along with applauding. I thought it was the Hilena cabin but they were not alluded to singing in the morning. Suddenly, I saw Cayla on some other cabin people’s shoulders. I stood there stunned, my bow still arched at the target. “Cayla?” I asked and lowered my bow.

“Oh, hey Syd. You guys go away first, I have business.” Cayla told the others and waved them off. “Hey.” She said,

“Do you even know your powers?” I asked and slung my bow over my shoulder. “You need training. Here famous girl. Time to have lessons, I can see you don’t. Just because you have all the powers, doesn’t mean you are powerful, you need to train.” I said and steered her towards the woods. “Okay?” She asked, confused. The forest was super dark, so I lit a fire from my hand, since I have part of that power, but the colour I made is always blue fire, nor any other colour. “Woah…” Cayla said, awed.

“The training centre.” I started and swung my fire hands around the room and it blazed to life, pictures of the element of my mother. “Woah!” she exclaimed and smoothed her hand against the pictures. I smiled, “Yeah, I agree, but this place is only for me, but since you are an all element, you can be here. I use my magic to make this private place, this forest is magical, all you need to do is wave your hand with your power in it, you can arrive at your private area.”

“MEGA COOL!” She squealed and did a cartwheel, only to hit her head against the wall. I giggled and held up my bracelet, I beat some of the beads rapidly and a silvery blue 3D hologram appeared on my other hand. “Envinyanta.” I said and blasted it at Cayla. “Why do I feel...better?” She murmured. “Heal magic. My mother gave me this bracelet to locate all the magic I have once used so I can use them again after I finish. So now, I can heal you.” I finished and lowered my hand. “Also, since Miss Cruna appointed you as the leader of Camp-” I paused, realizing I placed a little jealousy in my voice. “-You can change the rules, you can change all the rules in Camp, although you need to have at least half of the Camp agreeing with you. So it is kind of cool being the leader. Well, in Camp, you also learn how to speak Ent language, Elf language and other human languages, like Greek, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Latin and much more. Basically all the languages in the world. Also, you will learn animal language when you have learned all the other languages. And you can’t change this rule, it is kind of...forbidden? Whatever, ust, yeah, you get it.

“Awesome. Now, let’s practice, I want to be powerful.” Cayla said and rubbed their hands together.

I must say, teaching Cayla magic is a pretty hard job.

She keeps asking questions and pointing things out that should be wrong. Which is right. She keeps saying, “I will be the most powerful person in the world!” Then she makes a fake evil laugh.

I taught her the basics-moving items and flying. She keeps giggling when I fly up. And I am starting to feel annoyed.

At the end of the day, I was able to teach her to fly. She keeps complaining that moving things across is very hard and I demonstrated once for her easily and she didn’t say anything.

Finally, it was lunch time. Everyone gathered around the pavilion and ate lunch. Invisible wind and cloud nymphs offered everyone plates and fruits along with silver and gold goblets that can fill in any drink you want once you have said its name. It was simple magic. Finally, it was time to announce tomorrow’s activities. Since I was a Camp counselor, I had to do that. I walked up to the platform and picked up a golden goblet and spoon. Ting ting ting. I tapped the spoon on the goblet and everyone’s attention turned to me.

“As for tomorrow, we are going to do something...dangerous, but also an experience for the future.” I began. “Dangerous?” Cayla blurted out. “I will cancel that RIGHT NOW!!”

I glared at her. “You are not officially a Camp counselor. This dangerous stuff is IMPORTANT for the future.” I turned to the crowd. “The evil monster, the evil sorcerer, Khaos is awakened. We not only have to battle him. We have to battle the gods. The Olympian gods.” Everyone gasped.

“Yes, the gods have found out that the elements have awakened. They are planning revenge with their demigod children. But we need to fight back. Elements assemble!” Everyone cheered after me and I smiled.
