Nyx

“Delicious!” I exclaimed as I wolfed down roast beef with turkey. The dinner is amazing, we can have any dinner we like and any drink. The magic goblet and the invisible cloud nymphs will bring you whatever food you want. The cloud nymphs would topple your food on your plate, but you should never stand up too quickly or else your face would be hit by pizza or burgers.

Sydney and Irene were drinking the same apple juice and Irene and Rue were eating cheese and tomato pizza. Rue and Cayla were both drinking cherry coke. “This pizza is the best pizza ever!” Irene said with a big grin on her face smeared with melted cheese. Sydney was trying not to laugh as she saw her like that. Sydney was eating a plate of cheesy spaghetti with a bowl of fruits next to her. I watched as nymphs went from table and table filling goblets and putting down bowls of fruits.

Rue almost choked on her cherry coke as she swallowed a bite of apple at the same time. Sydney laughed and passed a box of tissue to her. “Thanks,” Rue said. Suddenly, a horn sound boomed. “What was that?” I asked Sydney. “It means that dinner time is over, it’s time for campfire time, hopefully, you’ll get a claim.” I sat down on a bench with my friends. The Hilena cabin did a sing along and some people sang along. Finally, Miss Cruna floated to the middle of the fire and gestured me, Irene, Rue and Cayla to come up. We stepped around her nervously and she patted her hand on our heads. “Ouch.” I muttered but she didn’t really hear.

“New half-bloods!” She cheered happily and the others unenthusiastically, probably clapped. “Now,” She announced, “We will get them a claim.” Everyone backed off as a wolf danced on my head, then a full moon appeared on my head, the wolf looked at it and turned into a human, sinking into my body, then burst into flames. Everyone bowed and Miss Cruna clapped so hard that my eardrums hurt. “Daughter of Night!” She gloated and put her cold hands on my shoulders, I shuddered. I looked at Irene, and suddenly, a flower halo with grass started swirling all over her head, and Miss Cruna cheered again, “Daughter of Lilac!” Irene flinched when Miss Cruna reached out to her. “Come on, dear,” Miss Cruna complained. Irene still flinched. “Whatever, let’s just look at the next claim,” I said while rolling my eyes. We all looked at Cayla and Rue. Suddenly, Rue had water splashing all over her head in a circle, but her head didn’t get wet. “Great! Daughter of Nithriale! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful…” She paused and turned to look at Cayla, Cayla winced. “How about you dear?” She asked with a kindly smile, “I-I-I don’t-'' Cayla started but her head suddenly burst with so many different elements altogether, no one saw what it was. “Oh my, oh my…” Miss Cruna said, but then her face brightened altogether. “A daughter of all elements! Wonderful!!” She did a little dance and bowed, her body going through the fire, everyone did the same. “Hail, the daughter of all elements, mother of all, the eternal, Elereral, goddess of all.” Sydney ordered and bowed. Everyone followed and repeated, “HAIL!”
