4 - Nightmares do come true.

"Sorry" that's all she heard.

Olivia opened her eyes and slowly to look at the teacher.

Her name was Mary Brownwig. She was strict lady in her late fifty's. The way she wore her hair in a clean bun, made her a bit scary too.

But she didn't say anything after that.

Olivia couldn't figure out what was going on. The room was empty with dead silence. This continued for a while and Olivia felt awkward, "Excuse me... Teacher... " she tried to talk.

"Wait for Liliya. She should also know this. It is about your..." said Mrs.Mary with a heart breaking tone.

She put away her oval-shaped spectacles and sighed deeply. She covered her eyes with her hand but Olivia saw a tear ran down her face.

She was shocked. But suddenly she remembered about the dream. She instantly got a very bad feeling. It was indeed a strange and a terrible feeling that made her sick to her stomach.

Olivia started to tremble "My... Parents... my... Are... Are they alright?" she knew she was overeating.

'There's no way that she going to talk about that, it must be something related to studies... Yes, we'll be transferring today... How stupid am I?'

She blamed herself for thinking about nonsense. But,

" Sorry they.. " Mrs.Mary suddenly stopped what she was about to say. She looked really shocked. She slowly asked,

"How... did you knew that.. that I was going to talk about... your parents?"

Olivia couldn't speak. She felt like there was something stuck in her throat.

"There has been a.." after a while Mrs. Mary started again. She understood that Olivia was in deep pain. Because the little girl was trying really hard to hold her tears back.

Mrs.Mary stood up from her chair and bent down to hugged Olivia gently. "Congratulations my dear child, you have worked excellently. Your parents will be very proud."

"They are DEAD!"

Olivia pushed Mrs.Mary and stood up. She had a grim look on her face.

"dead.. How could..." Mrs.Mary stared at her in disbelief. She was startle by Olivia's sudden outburst.

Then she said without meeting Olivia's eyes, "Your parents have been in an accident, I'm sorry."

"So it's true... Impossible." mumbled Olivia. She felt her legs abandoning her. She fell on her knees with such a force, that there was a loud 'bang' when she hit the floor.

How on Earth did this child knew about this? The accident happened two hours ago. At that time her must have been in her class. The police identified the victims and contacted the school just a while ago. And we don't let the students to use phones. So how... ?

"I had a dream..."

What did she say?

"No.. A nightmare... I saw them... dying...

Lily did too" suddenly Olivia realised that something must have happened to Lily's parents as well, because Mrs.Mary wanted to talk to her as well.

"What about Lily's parents? Were they... able to survive.?"
