Chapter 4 : Trapped at same hole

Hansen still doesn't understand the reason why Andini let David stick to her.

Although a bit annoyed, Hansen still needed the money. He then walked up to Andini and David and said, "Can I join?"

"Ah, of course, please sit down, my cousin," Andini said with a smile.

Hansen didn't understand why Andini called him a cousin. But he just obeyed what his wife wanted.

"Thank you cousin," said Hansen with a smile.

"Isn't he your husband? Why is he now your cousin?" asked David in surprise.

"He's my cousin, how come! My husband doesn't know about business. I purposely called him here because he's very good at business. Oh yes, his face does look like my husband, but believe me he's not my husband. Right?" Andini glanced at Hansen meaningfully.

"Yes, I'm her cousin. Her husband is looking for a job at the moment, so there's no way he's here," Hansen answered seriously.

"But how can your cousin look like your husband?" asked David, narrowing his eyes suspiciously.

"Hey, they do look a bit alike. But not one hundred percent alike. You seem too drunk to be able to distinguish their faces," continued Andini, trying to dodge.

"Is that so? But I'm drinking coffee, how can I get drunk?" said David with a sigh.

"Never mind, forget it. Can we continue the business discussion?" Andini tried to change the direction of the conversation.

Andini tries to get David to finish their business right then and there. Meanwhile, David continues to refuse to discuss it outside the room. And kept trying to persuade Andini to discuss the business in the hotel room. He continued to reason that he was not free to speak in open spaces. And he doesn't want to reveal his secret business in front of strangers.

"Come on, can't we just talk about it here? He's not someone else, really. He's my cousin!" Andini tried to convince.

"I don't care if he's your cousin or your husband. If you still want to discuss our business, then don't involve anyone else. I only want you, Miss Andini," David replied as he rose from his chair.

"But I…"

Before Andini could finish her sentence, David immediately cut her off by saying, "I'll wait for you at the Permata hotel. Don't forget to let me know via sms when it arrives."

"Oh yeah," David put his mouth close to Andini's ear, whispering. He spoke so quietly that Hansen couldn't hear him, “My eyes are everywhere. Never try to take anyone with you. If you dare to mess around, then our business will be canceled right then and there."

David stood up and walked away.

"Tch, okay," said Andini annoyed.

Seeing Andini agreed to David's request and immediately stood up to him, Hansen was even more confused and muttered in his heart.

("What is Andini really thinking? Why does she keep following him even though she knows that he has bad intentions towards her?")

At first Hansen wanted to go after him openly, but Andini stopped him, "Stop right there!"

"Didn't you hear cousin?" Andini said again, "The business will be canceled if you come with me. So please don't follow me, understand?"

Andini blinked unnoticed by David.

Hansen could only sigh and say, "Alright, cousin,"

When Andini and David had walked some distance, a message reappeared on Hansen's cell phone.

'What are you doing lousy man?'

'Quickly follow me quietly like last night!'

'Don't be silent!'

Along with the short message, a bank transfer notification appeared on his cellphone. 125 million went into Hansen's account just like that.

After the notification appeared, Andini sent a message again.

'I'll give you another 125 million if you do what I ask. Quickly follow me!'

'But remember, do it secretly! '

Hansen didn't understand what Andini's purpose in doing all that. But because he had received Andini's money and needed more money. He did what Andini asked.

Arriving near the black car parked in the cafe yard, David stopped his steps and looked back to make sure of something.

"Why did you stop?" Andini asked.

"Don't worry, my cousin won't follow us. Our business is very important. I don't want to lose it. So don't worry about unimportant things okay?" Andini pushed David's shoulder so he could continue his steps.

It was clear from a distance that David asked Andini to get into his car. He opened the door while inviting Andini like a princess. Andini got into the car.

Hansen who saw the scene put on an annoyed face and clenched his fists. When David took Andini away in his car, Hansen also received a cellphone notification explaining that he had received two million rupiah in his bank account.

Along with the notification message, Hansen received a message from Andini again.

'This is a bonus for wanting to return to your previous seat, the rest I will pay after you manage to follow me into the hotel. Remember not to lose track of me, otherwise the deal will be void!'

After reading Andini's text, Hansen immediately moved quickly to find a motorcycle taxi and asked him to take a shortcut to the jewel hotel.

Stopping not far from the Permata hotel, Hansen peeked out from one side of the building. He was surprised by Andini who entered the hotel door without a fight. Outside the door, four well-built people were guarded in all black, complete with sunglasses.

"Ah, this is no different from last night," Hansen muttered.
