Chapter 2 : Urgent situation

After a hot night, Andini woke up in the arms of Hansen who was still fast asleep. His body was not covered by clothes so that Andini was surprised. His eyes were wide open and he covered his mouth with his hand.

"Why is Hansen sleeping beside me!?"

"And why isn't he wearing clothes!?"

"What exactly happened!?" Andini held her head, confused,

"Shouldn't I be discussing business with David!?" Andini's memory is hazy because of the drug. What he remembered last time was that he had felt dizzy and tired since drinking the wine. He had absolutely no recollection of all the incidents about him being almost tarnished by the savage man and Hansen who had come to his aid.

Andini was silent, trying hard to remember everything that happened last night. Then, his eyes dropped to his body and realized that he was also undressed. "Kyaaaaa!"

Hansen woke up surprised to hear Andini's screams. "Why are you shouting?" asked Hansen as he sat with part of the body still covered by the blanket.

Andini shed tears and spoke sobbing.

"Sob sob, you're asking why I'm screaming? You dirty man!" Andini shouted while covering her body with a blanket, “Hansen, answer honestly. Explain to me, what happened last night?"

"Why don't we get dressed and fall asleep in the same bed like this?"

"Answer me, Hansen!" Andini snapped with tears on her face.

"Di .... did ... we did it?" cut Andy. Hansen was silent for fear of answering wrongly.

"Don't stand still, filthy man! Quickly answer my question! Have we done it!?" Andini snapped.

"Yes," replied Hansen, looking down.

"Have you forgotten the contract agreement? Even though we are married, I have made it clear to you that we will never have a relationship like husband and wife. I paid you to survive my father's insistence. It's not for fun, don't you understand!?" snapped Andini.

Her tears continued to flow along with the overflow of emotions that she continued to express through her words. Because Andini never kept her mouth shut and kept blaming herself, Hansen couldn't hold himself back anymore. He raised his voice and said, "Enough Andini! Stop yelling at me!"

"Let me explain first!"

"Oh, I see... After you managed to fuc* me, you're getting bolder, huh? How dare you raise your voice at me!"

Andini snapped Andini put her hand to Hansen's cheek. However, Hansen managed to catch Andini's wrist.

"I wouldn't dare touch you if you weren't the one who started it. Please remember what happened last night well, Andini!" said Hansen.

Because his hand was held by Hansen, Andini tried to slap him with his other hand. However, Hansen again stopped him. Andini could not move her hands at all. Andini struggled, trying to free her hands, but the flashes of last night's events began to return little by little until she finally fell silent. Hansen let go of his hand and said, "Have you memorized everything?"

Andini was silent for a moment in annoyance, then held her forehead and said, "Forget what happened last night! And don't expect to have that experience again. You understand!?"

"I... I see," Hansen replied, turning his face away.

"Why are you turning your face away?"

"That … " Andini realized that the blanket covering her body had been removed. He shouted, yelling at Hansen to leave. Nervous, Hansen hurriedly put on his pants with the body still covered by the blanket. He immediately ran out. Andini put on her clothes. However, he noticed that there were some stains and minor scratches on his clothes.

Andini, who doesn't like looking dirty, grabbed her cellphone and called Hansen to return to her room. After Hansen re-entered the room, Andini said, "We rent this apartment because the place for the banquet last night is quite far from our house."

"Of course I know, so what?"

"There are stains and scratches on my clothes, I can't go out looking like this. Buy me new clothes to wear! Didn't you bring a change of clothes?" asked Hansen in surprise.

"I brought the wrong suitcase because I was in a hurry. So, there are only these clothes that I can wear," Andini answered, holding her forehead because she felt dizzy.

"I see, I'll buy it," said Hansen, holding out his hand.

"What?" asked Andini sarcastically.

"Especially if it's not asking for money to buy new clothes. Didn't you tell me to buy them?"

"You enjoyed my body last night, can't you pay for it by buying me clothes?"

"But you know that I don't have much money," said Hansen.

"No buts, if you won't buy me clothes with your money. Then I'll stop giving you money!" threatened Andini annoyed. Hansen no longer objected. He still needs Andini's money to pay for his sister's treatment. Finally, Hansen was forced to obey. He received a description of the clothes Andini wanted, then went outside the apartment to buy them.

Arriving at the clothing store, Hansen found the clothes Andini wanted. But the price is around four hundred thousand rupiah, while the money is only six hundred thousand rupiah. The change was not enough to pay for his sister's medical expenses today. Hansen tried to contact Andini by phone. He asked him to transfer money to buy clothes, but Andini again refused and threatened to terminate her contract.

Hansen who had no other choice was finally forced to pay for the clothes with his own money. Because of that, he had to think of ways to get money to cover his sister's treatment costs. After buying Andini clothes, Hansen went to the hospital to visit his sister. He had invited Andini, but Andini refused to go because he was still annoyed by what happened last night.

Arriving at the hospital, Hansen went straight to the room where his sister was being treated. But his steps stopped when he saw his father sitting outside his sister's room. Hansen's father, Hendra Pratama, was holding his forehead, dizzy. He wears white clothes, black pants that look quite light, and a green mask that covers his mouth.

Hansen who was confused to see his father outside the room immediately came to him, "Why are you outside?"

"It's okay, dad is just trying to calm his mind and let Cindy rest," replied Hendra while touching his forehead. Realizing what was happening, Hansen put on a serious look and said,

"Is the hospital pushing for Cindy's treatment again?" Henry just nodded his head slowly. He felt ashamed and annoyed at not being able to help his own daughter. Unable to see his father sad, Hansen touched his father's shoulder and said, "Don't worry dad, Hansen promised to pay off Cindy's care bill. Hansen promised to take care of everything. Dad just needs to stay here to take care of Cindy."

"Okay," said Henry. He was silent for a moment, then raised his head after remembering something. With a sigh he asked, "Where is Andini?"

"He… has work that can't be left today," Hansen lied.

"Oh, I see." "You're so lucky to have a wife as good as Andini. She's a hard worker and from the top, but wants to marry you, and even help pay for Cindy's treatment. If it weren't for her, Cindy's current hospital bill ... "

"But we can't continue to depend on it, we have to work and try to raise money. Do you understand, my son?" asked Hendra while looking into Hansen's eyes.

"I understand father," Hansen nodded. After talking and seeing that Cindy's condition had not improved, Hansen left the hospital. But he did not immediately return to the apartment to meet Andini. He wanted to let his wife calm down first and try not to depend on him anymore. Hansen decided to look for a job.

He reached for the newspaper on one of the shelves in the hospital aisle and searched the page for job openings. His eyes fell on the words 'Security Guard.' Not a bad choice for him. Hansen was about to leave, but suddenly he heard screams from his sister's room being treated.
