5 : THE SURPRISE

Haruki woke up earlier as usual. Jin was fast asleep beside him. He felt his heart squeeze as he saw Jin's peacful sleeping face so close to his. Haruki supported his weight on his elbow and leaned in and gave Jin a kiss on his forhead. Suddenly he came back to his senses, coverd his mouth in astonishment, got off the bed and ran to the bathroom. Jin opened his eyes slowly and stared at the direction Haruki ran off to.

Haruki was surprised at himself. He never did anything like this before. He was always scared on how Jin would react. He could feel the blood burning on his ears. He was glad that Jin was fast asleep. He pulled himself together and washed up.

He prepared a light breakfast by the time Jin came out. Jin was walking focused on his phone. " Do you want to have something before you go?". Haruki asked.

Jin looked up from his phone. He knitted his eyebrows together as if he didnt understand the question.

" Breakfast.." Haruki made himself clear seeing Jin's questioning expression.

Jin took a glance at the door and said lazily "....yeah".

Haruki and Jin were eating when the doorbell rang. ' DING DONG'. Haruki was puzzled. The only person who ever came over was sitting right infront of him.

Jin look at Haruki " go open the door.". Haruki went to door and looked through the peephole. Turns out it was a delivery guy. He didnt remember ordering anything but opened the door.

The delivery guy handed over a box and left. It was a cake box. It was from one of the most famous bakers around. Haruki always wanted to taste his desserts but couldnt because of his schedule and there a wasnt home delivery option.Moreover it was crazy expensive. Haruki went inside with the cake. He was still confused as to why there was a cake in his hand that too from a very famous baker who only took personal order for very posh weddings and parties.

"Happy birthday" Jin said. He was standing infront of Haruki. Haruki looked at Jin perplexed.

" Did you order it?" Haruki asked.

"Yes" Jin replied.

"I thought you had forgotten" Haruki said. Jin didnt reply.

Haruki kept the cake aside and hugged Jin, smiling ear to ear. Jin was surprised but neither pushed him away nor hugged him back. Haruki heard Jin's calm heartbeat on the contrary to his violent heart. He felt happiness beyond his control. He wondered if he was allowed to expect a little more.

It was when Haruki finally stood back that Jin prepared to go. Jin took his coat and was about to leave.

Maybe it was because Jin brought the cake and wished him, Haruki didnt want Jin to go. Just when Jin was about walk through the door Haruki caught his hand.

Jin was surprised. He turned back with a questioning look. Haruki looked at floor and asked. "Can you not go?". Jin remained silent. Haruki raised his head to see Jin standing with one of his eyebrows raised.

A familiar scene flashed infront of Haruki's eyes. Haruki remembered how Jin reacted when Haruki asked him out. Haruki immediately retreated his hands.

"Its just.. the cake... Do you want to cut the cake.?". Haruki braced himself to be rejected again. To his surprise Jin came back in.

Haruki stood at door way astonished.

"Didnt you want to cut the cake?." Jin asked to the unmoving Haruki. He immediately pulled himself back together and rushed in.

He cut a slice and offered it to Jin's face.

'I am surely becoming more daring each day..' Haruki thought to himself.

Jin took a glance at Haruki, let out a sigh and took a bite from the cake Haruki offered. Then told Haruki he had enough.

Jin didnt feed Haruki a piece but Haruki was extremely happy as it was.

Haruki was still smiling ear to ear when he saw Jin staring at him. Haruki felt embarrassed for some reson.

Jin saw Haruki who was smiling like a fool up until then suddenly blushing. He couldnt stop himself from being amused. He poked into the cake and got some frosting on his pointing finger. He walked towards Haruki.

Haruki felt the sudden surge of pheromones in the room. He saw the familiar expression on Jin's face, it made parts of him twitch. Jin walked closer until they were inches apart.

Jin smeared the frosting on Haruki's lips. Haruki felt Jin's touch resound all through his body. He was craving the touch somewhere deep within.

Jin closed the distance between them and kissed Haruki. His tounge slid into Haruki as easy as anything. Jin's hand caught Haruki by the waist and pulled him even closer.

Jin's hand on Haruki's waist tightened, and a low moan escaped Haruki. Jin kept on sucking Haruki's lips. Haruki could feel the strenght draining from his legs. He started craving more. Jin's hand was moving lower and lower.

'DING, DING'.

As if he came back to his sense Jin took a step back. Haruki grabbed onto a chair nearby to steady himself.

Jin looked as if he was surprised at himself.

"I am going back." Jin said turning back and leaving immediately.

Haruki who was left behind, sat on the floor to calm himself. He looked as if he was woken up from a sweet dream. He slumped on the floor and sighed.

Even though he was left behind after getting excited, Haruki still felt happy and extremely grateful to Jin. He never felt this happy on his birthday. He stood up and looked at the piece of cake from which Jin took a bite out of. He took the slice and ate the rest of it.

Haruki was sure that today he fell a little more in love with jin. He sat on the couch with some idol programme running infront of him. He remembered how it was such kind of acts from Jin that made Haruki fall in love even more. It only happens once in while but it sure did satisfy Haruki.
