I waved goodbye as Enma crosses the intersection. We've been friends since the first day of University.
After graduating from high school most of my old buddies moved far away for University
We talk online but...... It makes me feel lonely sometimes
I walked towards home thinking back to my childhood
I can't remember any of them
All I get is the feeling that something is missing. I can't recall anything from back then
I don't have any memories from my childhood. Did I have friends? Did I have hobbies? Did I get a bunch of toys like every other kid?
Sometimes I find myself thinking about these and feel an indescribable emptiness
[Mom and Dad both said at the same time]
My parents greeted me. Their voices are coming from different locations

My mom pokes her head out from the kitchen, holding her ladle up

I headed to my room but the sent of curry is making me hungry
Yes, I'm empty from time to time
Whenever I see my parents...

My parents went to bed early and I was at the living room
I looked at the clock to see the time.... it was 9:34 pm

I lightly slapped my face with both hands to keep myself awake

You've been waiting for a whole entire week for this new episode
I climbed onto the couch, snuggling myself in the corner as I watched the TV commercials run
Slowly I felt my eyelids are getting heavy
I blinked my eyes hard and open them as wide as I can
I need to know what's gonna happen next in the drama
But the television started to distort the images askew on the screen
Out of nowhere the ringing of bells seems to be an echo in my ears

What's that sound?
My vision goes hazy and all I could see was bright light
What is this? I don't wanna fall asleep yet
Despite my efforts to fight for it, I felt myself gradually dozing off
And before I knew that I was fast asleep
I opened my eyes and found myself surrounded by darkness

What just happened?
My breath catches in my throat and an uneasy feeling begins bubbling in my stomach
Taking deep breaths, it takes every bit of my willpower to keep myself from panicking
After a while, my eyes adjusted to the darkness

Where the heck am I?
I don't know why but somehow the room feels familiar

I fell asleep in the living room didn't I?
I tried to move my body to see other sides of the room
My eyes widened by looking at the sight in front of me
I felt like my heart almost fell out of my chest
In the dark I saw a figure of a young man laying down next to me
What in the world.......????!!!!
