Chapter 4

The warm sunlight touched Alessa's face. She slowly opened her eyes only to find herself leaning on someone. She slowly looked up to find a sleeping Eudon.

"Kyahh!!" she immediately backed away from Eudon. He slowly opened his eyes. It seemed like he was awakened by Alessa scream.

"Why are you too loud?"

"What were you doing so close you pervert?!"

"Stop calling someone who helped you a pervert. Besides...." Eudon stopped then looked at her as if examining her then smirked.

"You're not my type" As Eudon stood up, Alessa was left with her mouth hanging open.

"You're not my type too you jerk!!!" As if sensing that Alessa woke up, Zephyr flew and land near Alessa. Alessa pat his head and then immediately followed Eudon with Zephyr in tow.

Alessa found him standing in the middle of the forest. He seems to be concentrating on something. And then a blue aura spread coming from him to the surroundings. When the aura passed through Alessa it felt like a cold gush of wind just pass through her soul.

Eudon suddenly turned around and Alessa flinched in response.

"Follow me" at Eudon's words he started walking and Alessa immediately followed him.

"Where you heading?" Alessa asked while following behind him.

"Well aren't you hungry?"

"Oh now that you mention it..." Alessa was soon cut off when Eudon suddenly stopped. She looked over his shoulders and she saw a river.

"Are you planning on fishing?" Alessa asked.

"There's no need." At the snap of Eudon's fingers two fishes from the river suddenly float and he soon brought them closer. Eudon snapped his fingers again and the next thing they knew the fish was well cooked. He snapped his fingers again and the fishes was now caught on a stick. He put one right infront of Alessa's face.

"Eat"

There was dead silence.

"Wha?! What the hell just happened?!" Alessa was extremely dumbfounded on what Eudon just did.

"Hey explain!" She immediately took one of the fishes when she saw Eudon already munching on the other one.

"Explain what?"

"How did you find this?! Aren't you new here?! And how did you capture these so easily?! Also how did you cook it?! And why are you eating already?!" Eudon swallowed before answering her.

"I used my aura to locate food. Then magic to cook it. And I'm hungry. Happy?" Alessa just bit the fish still bewildered by what happened, then she noticed Zephyr looking at her.

"Right you must be hungry too Zephyr. Go hunt" at her words Zephyr immediately flew away to find his prey.

They'd finished eating while Alessa was waiting for Zephyr to come back.

"So how would you look for this woman?" Alessa sat down next to Eudon.

"Do you even have an information about her?" Alessa asked and Eudon looked quite troubled.

"I do have but it's not very useful"

"Then let's hear it"

"The only thing that I know is that she lives in the heart of this forest. I have no clue on what she looks like"

"You're right. It is useless" Eudon glared at her but Alessa just grabbed a nearby stick and started scribbling on the ground.

"Lucky for you my clan had one information about her appearance." Eudon look at what she's scribbling.

"It was said that she has this mark on her face proving her curse" Eudon looked at what she drew.

Eudon starred at the drawing intently and seemed to be lost in thought. Alessa looked at him with pure curiosity when suddenly thet heard a sound coming from the trees.

"Zephyr?" Alessa was about to step closer to the trees when she suddenly stopped.

"No wait, this isn't Zephyr" suddenly the fish that Eudon caught came into her mind. That fish had a transparent color which could only mean that it was a crystal fish, the favorite food of the...

"Hell tiger" as soon as Alessa said that an animal which resembles a tiger came into view, only that this animal had black fur, blazing red eyes and twice the size of a normal tiger. It let out a loud roar which made the two cover their ears.

The hell tiger then proceeds to run towards them. When the tiger was almost infront of Alessa, Eudon caught her waist and with a string of magic pulled her up with him up in a branch of the tree.

The tiger let out another loud roar and approached the tree where the were at. It then proceeds to climb it. Alessa was about to jump when Eudon stopped her. She looked at him with both panic and curiosity in her eyes.

"Just what do ya think you're doing?!"

"Just wait"

When the tiger was closing in, Eudon picked her up and then jumped. Then when the landed he held her hand and proceeded to run.

When the tiger is about to close in Eudon would turn around and release some magic to attack the tiger but it wasn't enough to stop it.

"Eudon throw me!" Eudon looked at her like she was crazy.

"Just throw me at that damned thing!" Eudon hesitated for a moment but he then took her hand and threw her in the tiger. When Alessa was near the tiger she kicked it that it went flying within a short distance but it wasn't still stopped. Alessa ran back to Eudon and took his hand.

After running for a while they finally lost the tiger.

Both of them were out of breath as they sat on the ground. And then Eudon looked at her.

"How did you do that earlier" Alessa looked at him then answered.

"I told you, my clan possess enhanced strength. Which makes us much more stronger than normal human beings. Also that incident was entirely your fault!" Alessa crossed her arms then glared at him.

"Don't put the entire blame on me. It's not like you noticed it either."

"How would I notice it when you cooked it too fast!"
