Episode 4

Aquila saw that she had a beautiful soul, but he also knew that she would let the man kill him. The woman smiled when she was down wiping the dirt from Aquila's face and neck. "Look" She motioned for the man to come over. The man made no sound, but came over.

"He's from the Natural Kingdom? Is he branded?" The man squatted down next to the woman. "He's not a slave, I already checked." She said, but still didn't remove her eyes from him. "Why was he so close to border then? Hey, do you speak?" The man said as he snapped his fingers in front of Aquila's eyes. Aquila didn't even flinch, he just kept staring into the woman's eyes.

The man was getting angered at the lack of respect Aquila was giving. He stood up, and kicked Aquila with enough force he went flying into the wall. What the man didn't know was that Aquila already had his hands and feet free, so when the man kicked Aquila, Aquila was able to block the attack and press his foot's pressure point.

Aquila stood up like it was nothing even though blood was dripping on the back of his head, while the man was holding his foot on the ground.

"He's mine," the woman said with an amazed smile. "What?!" The man said in shock. "He's my pet from now on. Get the carriage ready." The man glared at both of them before limping out of the hut.

"Come along... or are you gonna try to escape now?" Said the woman, who smiled yet glared with her soul. Aquila knew that if he didn't escape now, he''ll have even more trouble to escape wherever they were gonna take him. But if things get difficult he can just escape no matter how impossible it could seem. Aquila would not make it far on his own as he is still only a ten year old.

Aquila closed his eyes and followed the woman out of the hut. The carriage was made out of ice, freezing to the touch to anyone who wasn't an Ice controller. But it was built beautifully even if it was night time, the carvings were lit by the shimmers of the moon bleeding through the snow filled branches.

The coachman didn't make any movement as Aquila came closer to the carriage. "Up you go." The woman picked Aquila up, and put him inside the carriage. It was bone chilling, but he didn't even flinch. The woman climbed in next, then the man climbed in and sat across from them.

"Take us home." The man called out to the coachmen.

The journey was long, the two were always on alert because Aquila, they thought it was weird someone like came along with them without putting up a fight. That Aquila could survive an attack like that, heck, that he managed to block it and attack back!
