Ch : 4 {The Party}

The red haired girl gently smiled at them and spoke to Cedric first.

" So this is your 'rumoured' brother huh? " she spoke in a slight teasing note.

Cedric furrowed his brows before replying back to her.

"Yes he is and he has a name...so if you don't want any trouble then I will suggest you be nice to him" he flatly told her.

*chuckle* "Geez...when did you became such a grumpy old man Cedric. Of course I know his name your mom told me this noon only"

"So..." she looked towards Haru "Haru...i am Rachel Flitch...Cedric's childhood bff and long -time adviser"

"Adviser? "

"Yeah...ever since he has found out about his *interest* in men...you know what I am talking about right? " she smirked at Haru a little bit.

"A-ah umm...i-i mean" Haru starts stuttering on his words because of the sudden question.

"Rachel...i think I told you something just now" Cedric glared at her.

"Don't worry I was just asking him...since he is your brother he should at least know this much about you right? "

"He knows. " Cedric pointed out.

"Oh really? " she asked Haru.

Haru simply nodded and after again giving him a small smirk she invited them both inside. Then she led them in the living room where 5 more people were already sitted, three girls and two boys. After Haru and Cedric settled right next to each other on the two armchairs next to the couch, Rachel started introducing her other friends to him.

"Haru these two are Susan and Lucy" she said pointing towards the two girls with shoulder length hair "and they are step sisters just like you guys"

Cedric scoffed.

She then looked towards a girl with blonde hair tied in a bun who was looking straight at Haru.

"She is-" but she was cutted off mid sentence by the blonde girl.

"Hi I am Alexandra but you can call me Alex though" she introduced herself as she lifted her hand for a handshake. Haru took her hand in a gentle yet firm shake.

"Right...and last but not the least" Rachel said jokingly pointing towards the two boys who were busy drinking the soft drinks.

" The one with the black hair is Andrew and the one who is wearing glasses is Simon"

They both looked at him and gave him a wave and Haru did the same.

After introducing themselves a bit more they all turned to look at Haru in order to ask him questions now.

"Haru" Simon spoke first " How are you finding your new home now? "

"It is really nice...the rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated, plus the garden makes it a lot more better" Haru replied.

"I know right, when I first went to Cedric's mansion I was surprised by the amount of bushes there only" Simon says in a dramatic tone.

Haru chuckles a little.

"And how are you finding your brother so far?"

Haru looked at Cedric.

"What? " Cedric pointed out.

Haru immediately looked away and speaks " He is nice too but I guess it is still too early to say anything more about him...as it's only been a day"

They all nodded except for Cedric.

"Anyway how about we continue our game from last party" suddenly Susan chirped.

"What game? " Haru asked curiously.

"Truth and Dare...i am sure you will find it fun" she replied.

"Okay"

"Alright then let me get my bottle first...Cedric you are playing too right? " Rachel asked.

Cedric nodded.

"Great!! " saying that she left the living room and went into the kitchen.

After retrieving the bottle she placed it in the middle of the coffee table and sat down on her seat next to Susan.

"Okay let's start" Susan spinned the bottle and it landed on her and Haru first.

Cedric groaned.

"What? " she asked.

"Nothing just don't tell him to do anything stupid "

"Oh come on...it is just a game...and who knows maybe Haru will like a little risk too right? " Susan tried to reason with him.

Cedric didn't say anything back but just instead gave her a small nod.

"Okay so Haru...what do you choose? " she asked looking at him.

"Umm...truth" Haru replied which earned him a small sigh from Cedric.

"Okay then mine's dare...so Haru tell me...did you have a crush on anyone? "

"Umm....not really...i barely talked to anyone in the orphanage"

"Aww...thats sad" Susan replied before speaking again "Then I guess it is your turn to ask me a dare"

"W-well" Haru was lost for a minute when Cedric whispered into his ear softly.

*ask her to eat tomato...she hates it*

"R-right....umm...Susan I dare you to eat tomato"

Everyone laughs and claps while Susan groans.

"Hey how do you know it Haru? " she asked him suspiciously.

"A-ah...i"

"It doesn't matter how he knows...the thing is if you don't follow the rule you lose Susan" Rachel answered with a smirk.

Susan groaned once again before getting up from her place to retrieve a tomato from the kitchen, she then returned with it and eat it in huge gulps sometimes choking too.

"Once again...lets go" Rachel enthusiastically spinned the bottle.

This time it landed on Alex and Cedric.

"I choose truth" Alex replied.

"Oh...it looks like yours is dare Cedric" Rachel gave him a knowing smirk. Cedric only scoffed at her before speaking to Alex.

"Alright then...when did you first have sex? "

Everyone gasps except Alex.

"Ce-cedric...thats" Haru tried to intervene but Alex stopped him.

"It's okay Haru...and for your question it was 3 months ago after finals were over" she replied.

"Oh...oh!! was it Gabriel? " Susan asked her.

"No...Nathan my neighbour"

"Wow...thats some bravery" Rachel said.

" Well then I guess it is my turn now" Alex said and looked at Cedric again.

"For your dare...i...ask you to slap Rachel on the cheek and hard" Alex says putting a little bit emphasis on hard.

Rachel audibly gulps.

Cedric easily complies and does as he is told which leaves a visible mark on her cheeks.

"Hehe...Rachel it looks like now when the school will reopen...people will be curious about your puffy cheeks" Susan mocked her.

"Shut up" Rachel said angrily.

"Anyway...lets do it again" and Rachel spinned the bottle again and this time it landed on Haru and herself.

"Well well it looks like Haru will have to go for a dare this time since he has already choosen truth on the first try" Susan said.

"Now this is getting exciting" Rachel replied brightly.

"Alright then Haru...your turn first" she told him.

"Okay...so Rachel...what is it you fear the most? "

"Hmm...good question...what I fear the most is...is..." she speaks putting a finger on her bottom lip.

"Cedric Wright"

Everyone chuckles at her answer.

"Well if that's the case then I believe the best solution for you is to behave then" Cedric said with a teasing smirk.

"Yes yes...and now it looks like my turn now" Rachel spoke.

"So Haru...for your dare I want you to" she looked at everyone before giving Cedric a sneaky smirk.

"I dare you to kiss Andrew on the lips"

"WH-WHAT!!! " Haru panics.

"Hey Rachel!! I told you to behave just now didn't I? " Cedric growled at her.

"Why...it is just a game...even I did it once with Susan when you dared me"

"Don't change the topic" he snapped back.

"Come on Cedric...its just a game...chill dude" Andrew replied in a lazy tone.

"Shut up Andrew...Haru is not doing it" he said to him.

"Oh come on now-"

"It's fine Cedric...its just a game so don't worry...i can do this" Haru said in a gentle voice his face still red from embarassment.

"But Haru-"

"Oh come on now Cedric...he is not a baby okay" Rachel tried to tell him off which earned her a glare from him.

Haru went upto Andrew and leaned down before giving him a small peck on the lips.

"Aww...that was so sweet Haru" Susan said in a dreamy tone.

Cedric glared at her and Haru only blushed madly.

After this the game continued for a good 2-3 times more before Cedric noticed it was getting late for him and Haru therefore he decided to call it a night and called his driver to take them back.

Haru said goodbye to everyone there and then exited the house to sit back in the car with Cedric on the other side leaving a small space between them. Throughout the drive back Cedric didn't said anything and kept clenching his fists which made Haru fidget in his seat nervously. Once they reached back, Mrs Wright asked Haru how was the experience for him and he replied in a happy voice before retiring for the night after wishing her goodnight.

Moments before opening the door to his room his arm was pulled from behind to turn him around and as he did, he was greeted by Cedric's lips on his own in a slow but firm kiss.

"Goodnight Haru" Cedric said after breaking the kiss.

"G-good night..."

Cedric then went in his room without giving him a second glance and shut the door behind him, Haru too entered his room after that and shut the door before putting his back against it and trying to collect his thoughts for the day while his heart was beating loudly inside his chest.
