Ch 4. Confused

I stared out the window as the trees passed by. The driver said it was going to be about an hour before we got to Caius's place. I didn't want to think about anything. I was mentally exhausted. Just then I heard Caius's deep voice. "Which realm are you from Cole?" he laid his hand on my thigh making me jump.

I hesitated before finally speaking, "The s-spirit realm," I spoke quietly staring at my fidgeting hands. The spirit realm was only for demons, angels, reapers, and even some ghosts.

"Look at me," he demanded. I hesitated before looking up at his maroon colored eyes. He needs blood soon. He grabbed my chin tilting my head while staring into my eyes. "You have such beautiful eyes." I felt my cheeks heat up with embarrassment. I looked down, trying to hide my face. I suddenly felt him pick me up, placing me on his lap. My back was held towards his chest. "What a-are you doing," I tried to get up but he pulled me back down. I squirmed trying to get out of his hold. He held my arms to my body, but I continued fighting.

"Don't do that," he said. Don't do what? I continued squirming, ignoring what he said. I didn't want him to hold me like this. It made me feel weird and confused. "Are you trying to make me aroused," he whispered in my ear.  Aroused?! I immediately stopped squirming realizing I was rubbing my body against his. He chuckled while I stayed silent, afraid to move. He took the bandage that was on my neck off. He grabbed a fist full of my hair and tilted my head to the side, exposing my neck. He's going to bite me again. I held my breath and clenched my teeth preparing for the pain.

I felt his teeth sink into my neck. I tried to keep silent, making no sound. His teeth sunk deeper into my skin, making me gasp. The pain went away and I was filled with pleasure.  I leaned forward trying to get away from him, I didn't like the way he made me feel. He pulled my hair keeping me from moving. I felt my body grow hot. He bit harder, making a moan escape from my mouth. I breathed heavily unable to control myself. I was unable to fight and unable to contain my moans. He kept my neck exposed and had my head leaned back onto his shoulder. I felt beads of sweat forming on my forehead. My body became weaker. Soon enough he took his fangs out from my neck and let me go. I stayed with my head leaning on his shoulder. I took deep breaths trying to calm myself down. "Your blood is so sweet," he whispered into my ear. I tried to ignore him despite the chills I felt going down my spine.

Once I calmed down and regained some of my strength I got off of his lap and sat in the seat next to him. I put my hand towards my neck feeling my blood. I kept my hand on the mark, to stop the bleeding. Everyday they injected me with a serum that made me much weaker, as a demon/angel hybrid I was suppose to be strong, but the serum they gave me made the growth of my wings slow, because once I got my wings, I would also become stronger. I stared out the window trying to ignore Caius's stare.

I hated the way he made me feel. It made me confused. Even when Azriel bit me, I never felt the amount of pleasure he made me feel.  I shook my head trying to get rid of those thoughts. I looked out the window watching some building and trees pass, the sky was much darker and some stars were visible. Most royal people chose to live out of the city and in places far like in the forest. The limo stopped and Caius's door opened. He got out and I followed after him. I stared in awe at the mansion, well more like castle in from of me. It was made of tan bricks and there was a large door. We walked up the stairs to the door. The door immediately opened and we were greeted by maids and butlers.

Caius grabbed my hand and started walking up a large staircase. We went up three floors before he stopped in front of a door. He opened it and inside was a large bedroom. It had a king size bed with grey bed sheets and black pillows. There was a grey carpet covering the floor and the curtains were black. There was a a large window seat for reading. It also had black pillows. Their was a black desk and two other room that seemed to be a bathroom and possibly a walk-in closet.

"Welcome to our room, my little bunny" Caius beamed with joy. Our room, I didn't want to stay with him. "W-why do we have to stay in the same r-room?" I questioned. He looked towards me with a smirk on his face. "Because I want to be with my bunny all the time." I didn't appreciate the nickname he gave me but it kind of made sense. I sighed, I knew I wouldn't be able to get out of this so I just accepted it. I walked around the room, looking at all the different things. I looked out the window, it was pitch black outside but I could still see the silhouettes of trees from the moonlight. I think I'm going to be spending most of my time next to the window.

"Time to sleep, sweetie," Caius said walking toward me. He reached out to grab me but I quickly held my hands up in front of my chest and said, "W-wait, can I take a shower first," I asked. He looked hesitant but finally agreed. At least I can get some time away from him. I walked into the bathroom locking the door behind me. I stripped and got into the shower. I felt the warm water calm me down, finally I was away from him. I washed my hair with a fruit scented shampoo and conditioner. After I washed the rest of my body. I stayed in the shower for a while, glad that I could be alone.

Unfortunately, I knew I couldn't stay in here for too long, I also felt pretty tired. I got out and dried my hair and body. I looked around realizing I didn't bring any clothes in. Why didn't I bring clothes with me, I yelled at myself in my head. I wrapped the towel around my waist and peeked out of the bathroom. No one was in the room. I rushed out of the bathroom and to the closet. Thankfully there were some clothes that were my sizes. I grabbed some clothes, and just when I turned around I was pushed against the wall. I yelped in surprise and dropped the clothes in my hands. Suddenly I felt someone's lips against mine.

I pushed the person away, breathing heavily. I looked up and saw Caius standing there with a smirk on his face. "What are y-you doing?" I asked angrily. He came closer to me, "Are you trying to seduce me, you look so cute when your angry," He gave me another kiss before walking out of the closet. To afraid to go back out there I put my clothes on and hung the towel up to dry. I hated that he kept kissing me, it reminded me of someone in my past.

I finally got the courage to walk out of the closet. I sighed in relief when I saw he wasn't in the room. I laid down and put the blankets over me before closing my eyes. I felt Caius lay down beside me, making me tense up. He grabbed me and pulled me towards him, my back against his chest. I squirmed around but it didn't help. "Don't worry, I won't do anything," Caius muttered. Realizing I couldn't get away I tried to relax, and before I knew it my eyelids grew heavy and I fell asleep.
