One Day Girlfriend

The evening was soft and golden when Ana smiled and said,

“Okay, King. Let’s start our date.”

King chuckled, his heart racing. “What? Okay, that’s good to hear.”

Then, silently to himself, he thought, “Did she just say one-day girlfriend? Unbelievable… maybe she doesn’t even know what that really means.”

Ana twirled with excitement. “Oh my God, this is going to be super fun!”

They entered the place together, hand in hand. Ana’s eyes widened in surprise when she saw a huge aquarium filled with colorful fishes gliding through the water.

“Wow, King! It’s so amazing!” she said with pure joy.

King smiled softly. “Ana, I’m a little tired. Let’s sit there for a few minutes.”

“Okay, King,” she said and sat beside him. After a moment, she thought to herself, “I think King must be hungry.”

She stood up. “King, just wait here. I’ll be right back.”

King looked at her curiously. “Okay, Ana. But where are you going?”

“Just wait,” she said with a secretive smile and walked away.

A few minutes later, she returned with something in her hands.

“King, see this! I think you’ll like it.”

King’s eyes lit up. “Wow… pancakes! Thank you, Ana. I like this so much!”

Ana’s heart fluttered. “He said he likes it… I’m so happy to hear that.”

But suddenly, something unexpected happened.

King leaned forward and kissed Ana.

Before she could react, he held her gently by the waist and came closer, trying to kiss her lips. Startled, Ana placed her hand over his mouth.

“King, would you stop it?” she said, her voice trembling. “What are you doing? I’m not your wife or your lover.”

King froze. His face fell. “I’m sorry, Ana. I don’t know why I did that…”

Ana turned away, her thoughts tangled between anger and confusion.

“I shouldn’t miss this moment by scolding him… but still, this isn’t right. Why did he do that?”

After a pause, she said softly, “It’s okay. But please, don’t do that again.”

King’s voice was low. “Are you angry with me?”

Ana sighed. “Yes… just don’t speak about it anymore.”

Inside, though, her heart whispered something else. “But… I liked the way he kissed me.”

She smiled faintly. “Don’t take advantage of me, King. Let’s go.”

King felt guilty. He walked beside her silently, his heart heavy. “Don’t be sad, Ana,” he said gently.

Ana looked at him, her expression softening. “He’s right. Why should I be sad? If I let this moment go, I’ll never get it again.”

As they walked, King suddenly felt a warm touch on his hand.

It was Ana. She smiled. “It’s okay, King. Let’s go.”

King felt his guilt fade away. He was happy—happier than he had ever been.

After a while, Ana said, “King, I feel so tired. Let’s sit there.”

“Okay,” he nodded, and they sat together under the soft evening lights.

King leaned back, resting his head on Ana’s lap, and slowly drifted to sleep. Ana looked down at him, smiling gently. “He looks so cute when he sleeps,” she thought, brushing a strand of hair from his face.

When King woke up, it was his turn to be surprised—Ana had fallen asleep on his shoulder.

He looked at her tenderly. “Should I kiss her? But what if she gets angry again? Maybe I should ask her first…”

“Uh… Ana,” he whispered. “May I kiss you?”

Ana blinked in surprise. “What? King, I need time.”

King smiled playfully. “Okay… I’ll give you five minutes.”

Ana laughed, her cheeks turning pink. She liked his boldness, his honesty, and the way he respected her.

Finally, she whispered, “Love you, King.”

King’s heart melted. “Love you too, Ana. Now… may I?”

Ana blushed and nodded softly. “Okay…”

King moved closer, his eyes locked with hers. “Ana, look into my eyes. You look so beautiful.”

Before she could reply, King gently kissed her lips.

Ana froze—shocked, but her heart was beating fast, her emotions swirling between fear, warmth, and love.
