Writer's POV:
When Noemi hit puberty, all boys in her class noticed. She developed that svelte silhouette her mother had with that roundness in the right places.
Her cuteness was her strength, especially when it came to flattering her father. She had those wide eyes surrounded by long eyelashes that made her stare as attractive as her smile.
Oh more boys came rushing to her feet after her Qinceañera (15th birthday celebration), but none could really get that close to her.
Her father was feared as well as her cousins that attended the same school. She was that girl every guy crushed on but couldn't get their hands on; because if they did, they sure were dead meat.
That was the rumour that went round and no boy ever tried to get really close to her and discover if this rumor was true or not. No one wanted to be the example set for others to see.
~~
The time came when she was finally sixteen and after her birthday, she sure was determined to flirt more than she already did, and get herself a boyfriend. Behind the back of all men in her family of course.
Yes she was an Angel in front of her father, but out of the family house, Lèaina was just as daring and crazy as her mother.
As the twins got older, the trouble got worse. Not on the inside, but outside the house.
Lorenzo was that twin who pretended to be calm in front of people he didn't know; that twin who could be really snob with annoying adults, classmates and strangers; that twin that controlled his temper but not his mouth.
Yes Lorenzo had a very bad mouth. A very very very bad mouth. He won 98% of every verbal argument he got involved in and most of his opponents would leave with a broken ego and sometimes in tears.
Alejandro was that twin that laughed a lot; that twin that was always ready to fight. He was the arms and Lorenzo the mouth. They were the perfect team; he was that twin that shot rotten eggs on a teacher's window while Lorenzo mocked.
Yup they were a headache to the people they mutually disliked.
As twins they had a very special bond. They would look at each other in the eyes and be able to know what the other was thinking. One could be hurt and the other would feel his pain. One could be in danger and the other would immediately feel it in his guts. They shared everything.
The things they had in common; they were very social with the right people; they were good hypocrites too; they loved girls and loved breaking their hearts just as well; they'd both lost their innocence at fourteen; they loved to party and now they were eighteen and highschool seniors.

But with all that, they brought home good results; the best. And those were enough to stop the headache they caused their family.

Mr Andrè, the history teacher walked about the front of the class as he explained the topic they were treating that morning.
He might have appeared alright in front of his students but he had one thing in mind, disturbing him. He secretly wished and hoped that this time, the Enrique twins wouldn't cause any nonsense in class.
Dislike was an understatement for what he felt towards the boys. He did not appreciate them at all.
The last time, they'd publicly provoked him and he lost his cool but so did they. The only thing the principal did was suspend them for some days.
Knowing to which family they belonged, it was hard punishing them like any other student would be.
But he had to admit it was partly his fault. He'd acted stupid from day one by trying to walk on them.
He was that type of man who'd wanted to prove to the twins that them being from a dangerously influential family didn't scare him. But he proved it the wrong way by publicly trying to humiliate them for no reason at all, by giving them tests harder and different from what he gave to the other students, by giving them long hours of detention for little disturbances.
When the twins discovered his tricks, they made life hard for him. Instead of reporting his acts to the school administration, they decided to take the rules into their own hands.
And it was from that moment that Mr Andrè regretted his stupid acts. It was too late though. Now they were big boys. Eighteen years old.
The twins had their red eyes on him. He was gonna pay till they graduated.
That was something that made him slightly relieved. They were seniors and soon enough they would have to graduate and leave for good.
"Who can answer the question?" He asked the class.
A few students raised their hands, including a smirking Lorenzo.
Mr Andrè looked around, avoiding Lorenzo who was quite close.
"Yes Carmine." He pointed at a girl in the corner.
"Why Carmine???" Lorenzo suddenly asked out loud and the man found himself swallowing. He knew the silence had lasted way too long and he was in no mood for trouble with the twins.
Last time he'd discovered his car with all the four tyres burst, and he knew it just had to be them.
One had even succeeded in sleeping with his daughter and he didn't know which of them had. He'd tried to do something about it but both denied whatsoever and even threatened him.
He should've never gotten in their way.
"What?" He asked, clearing his throat and trying to sound as normal as possible.
"Why Carmine and not me? I am definitely in your view ain't I?" He asked and some students chuckled.
"Um...okay Lorenzo." Mr Andrè cleared his throat again "...answer the question then..."
"I don't know the answer." He replied casually and the students laughed as lowly as possible. Apart from Alejandro who laughed freely, enjoying the drama.
"Carmine Darling you can answer the teacher's question now..." He winked at the blushing girl.
And just then, to Mr Andrè's greatest relief, the bell went for lunch.
"See you next class. Don't forget to read the chapters I gave." He hurriedly packed his things and left the class.
Immediately he did, the students laughed out loud.
"I hate that man." Lorenzo chuckled, turning to fist bump his brother.
"One more thing we have in common." Alejandro laughed.
They packed their stuff into their bags, preparing to go for lunch.
Two friends of theirs approached them.
"That was crazy. Will you ever give Mr Andrè a break?" Dino laughed.
"Why should we?" Lorenzo replied casually.
"There are two chances of us leaving him alone." Alejandro started. "When we graduate and leave or\-"
"When he gets raped by a homeless schizophrenic man." Lorenzo completed his brother's sentence like they always did with one another, and they burst out laughing.
"And none of those would would happen anytime soon. We have six more months to graduation. Meaning six more months to teach his lanky \*\*\* a lesson. That man hated us from 8th grade and made our lives a living hell. Now that we're big enough, he'll have to put up with the nightmares we give him." Alejandro added.
They got their bags and stood.
"No one could've said it better."
Dino and Carlos laughed even more.
Just then, a group of girls that were passing by their seats smiled and waved.
"Hello Lorenzo and Alejandro." They said sweetly.
Alejandro smiled and nodded at them while Lorenzo pretended not to hear, manipulating his phone till they were gone.
"hahaha why didn't you answer?" Carlos asked Lorenzo
"Cuz I don't know them." He mused "let's go."
They all laughed and left for lunch.
