"Don't ever step foot in the kitchen again," Taehyung said finally, voice low but firm.

Jeon Jungkook

Jungkook blinked at him, surprised by the sudden protectiveness in those usually cold eyes. "...Okay,"he whispered, biting his lip.

Kim Taehyung

Taehyung secured the bandage, his gaze lingering on Jungkook's face for just a second longer than necessary, before straightening up.

The next morning, sunlight streamed into the bedroom.

But Jungkook was still sitting on the edge of the bed, unmoving.

Third person

When Taehyung walked in, his brows knit together. It was unusual - Jungkook was always the first to get ready.

Kim Taehyung

"Why are you not ready yet?" Taehyung asked, his tone calm but laced with curiosity.

Jeon Jungkook

Jungkook looked up at him briefly before dropping his gaze, lips jutting out in a soft pout.

Jeon Jungkook

"I couldn't take a shower because of my injury."

Kim Taehyung

For a second, Taehyung's heart skipped a beat.

Third person

The mighty CEO Jeon Jungkook - usually all ice and composure - looked like a sulking child complaining about his worry. It was... dangerously cute.

Kim Taehyung

Taehyung took a slow breath, steadying himself. "Come, I will help you shower."

Jeon Jungkook

Jungkook's eyes widened. "You will-"

Kim Taehyung

"Yes. Hurry now," Taehyung cut him off, already walking toward the bathroom.
