"Jungkook, what happened?" His usually calm voice was sharper now, tinged with urgency.

"I... hot water... I was boiling it and it spilled-" Jungkook stammered, his voice weak.

Taehyung was already on his feet, striding over. He took Jungkook's wrist carefully, his touch firm yet gentle, and examined the angry burn.
