Philip slowly walked into the forest following the trail of burnt grass and saw a limp body resting against a large boulder. Cautiously, he walks over and examines her face, noticing all the bruises on her.

Suddenly he hears barking and guards yelling. Looking down at the still unconscious girl, he places her on his back carrying all the things he stole and begins walking deeper into the woods until the barking and yelling slowly fades away.

Athena had managed to hold onto the horse and stopped it at the nearest house. Covered in blood, she staggered to the door and a middle aged woman opened it, looking so confused she carried her inside, shouting for everyone's attention.

Feeling herself loose consciousness, she falls limply into someone's arms. Athena saw herself in a field and two people she couldn't recognize but also knew she knew them slowly drifting away from her

In another scene, she was nine and covered in dirt when a boy about three years older than her walks up to her and takes her hand. Then a few happy moments flash bye and she sees Willow's smug face staring at her " You are nothing but trash, you will never amount to anything and will always be beneath my feet ".

She sees the four men who tried to kill her slowly surrounding her saying how she killed her parents and hurt those around her. Then she saw the red eyed demon girl who had saved her staring at her, then holding out a hand after killing the men.

Trying to touch the girl, she suddenly realizes that she's slowly drifting away, now running, the demon girl disappears and suddenly she feels herself screaming and falling into a dark bottomless pit.

Athena got up with a start and started breathing heavily. Looking around she slowly remember last night.. The arena, the assassins and the demon eyed girl. Feeling herself being overcome with a wave of weakness she drifts back into an uneasy sleep, hoping it would be a dreamless one.

Ruby felt something soft but callous rubbing her face and slowly opened her eyes and saw the Philipvfrom the Arena staring at her. He looked happy and relived to see her awake.

Giving a small smile he rubs something red unto her arm making her wince " You'll be alright. You've been asleep for a while now ". Gathering herself up she look a around and realizes she's in a clearing somewhere in the blood forest " How did we get here ".

Philip doesn't look at her and simply shrugs " In summary you defeated the three fire lions, killed three men, broke a wall twice then killed a few more men ". Looking up at the sky she smiles to herself and sits up " If any of that really did happen, how are we here".

Philip looks at her and raises an eye brow " So you don't remember anything from last night ". Still confused, she places a finger to her chin and shakes her head " No.... Its mostly a blur after you didn't let me in ".

Philip looks back down and begins wrapping her up where necessary and sighs " If you came back in, you'd be off to the ***** houses and I dunno why I cared but I did ". Its silent for a while and Philip sits next to her. Ruby looks over to him " I'm sorry, I didn't mean that. Its just..... I've been having a lot of worst days lately ".

Philip smiles and nods. Ruby feels herself slowly drifting off again when she feels Philips' arms on her. Drifting in and out of consciousness, she feels something hard and warm but still comfortable beneath her and realizes she's on his back "What are you doing, put me down right now. I can walk".

Philip ignores her and holds unto her legs even tighter " Nuh uh. If you were fine, you'd be off my back by now and you really need to rest ". Slowly losing the strength to resist, she stops protesting and feels herself being lulled into sleep as Philip starts walking.

I'm so sorry the chapter came this late. I was just not feeling in the mood but I hope I can keep posting them daily. I'd also appreciate if you could give a few ideas or pointers about the details. I'm just writing as I go so pls bear with me
