The Mafia Gala - "Dance with the Devil"
(The grand ballroom drips with gold and blood-red roses. Kai, in a tailored black suit that clings to him like sin, swirls a glass of champagne as Luca watches from the shadows. Their target-Don Moretti-holds court across the room.)
Kai Chen(Mc)
(leaning into Luca's space, lips brushing his ear): "You know, if you keep staring at me like that, people will think you actually like me."
Luca Vitale(ML)
(hand tightening on Kai's waist): "I tolerate you."
Kai Chen(Mc)
(grinning, all teeth): "Liar."
(The music swells. Luca spins him onto the dance floor, their bodies pressed flush. Kai's breath hitches-just for a second-before he smirks.)
Kai Chen(Mc)
Wow, Reaper. You do know how to have fun.
Luca Vitale(ML)
(growling, grip bruising): Dance. Don't talk.
(Kai laughs, but his fingers dig into Luca's shoulder. The game is on.)
Valentina's "Interrogation" "Knives & Lipstick"
(Valentina has Jasper pinned against her office wall, a stiletto blade under his chin. He's grinning.)
Jasper(Kai's Bestfriend)
So, uh, is this a stab me or kiss me situation? Because I'm good with either....
Valentina(Luca's Sister)
(rolling her eyes): "You hacked into my private files."
Jasper(Kai's Bestfriend)
Correction-I admired them. From inside the system. With love.
(She presses the blade harder. A bead of blood wells up. Jasper's grin widens.)
Valentina(Luca's Sister)
(muttering): "Why do I find you annoyingly charming?"
Jasper(Kai's Bestfriend)
Because I'm delightful
(She kisses him. It's violent. He melts.)
Rafael's Bakery - "Sweet Revenge"
(Dante storms in, covered in someone else's blood. Rafael sighs, wiping flour-covered hands on his apron.)
Rafael(Dante's lover)
Darling, we talked about tracking gore onto my clean floors.
Dante(Luca's right hand man)
(grunting, holding out a bullet-riddled box): "Tiramisu. For you."
(Rafael blinks. Opens it. The dessert is miraculously untouched.)
Rafael(Dante's lover)
(soft, for once): "... You fought through a gunfight for cake?"
Dante(Luca's right hand man)
(shrugging): "You like it."
(Rafael drags him into a kiss. Dante smiles against his mouth-rare.)
Kai's Breaking Point - "Burn It Down"
(Luca's men drag in one of Kai's brother's killers. Kai's smile is the scariest thing in the room.)
Kai Chen(Mc)
(sweetly): "Oh, hello."
(The man pales. Luca watches, fascinated, as Kai picks up a knife.)

(laughing, unhinged): "Darling, I was born for this."
(Later, covered in blood, Kai's hands shake. Luca catches his wrist.)

(fierce, quiet): Look at me. You're not alone.
(Kai hates how that undoes him.)
The Aftermath - "Chaos & Cuddles"
(Jasper, high on adrenaline, bursts into the safehouse.)
Jasper(Kai's Bestfriend)
I may have accidentally started a gang war? But! I also stole their wifi passwords!
(Kai, half-asleep on Luca's shoulder, flips him off. Luca doesn't shove him away-progress.)
Valentina(Luca's Sister)
(sipping wine): "I'm surrounded by idiots."
Rafael(Dante's lover)
(handing her a cupcake): Here. It's laced with sedatives.
Valentina(Luca's Sister)
(taking a bite): Bless you.
