11:00 PM | Vitale Estate - Interrogation Room
The cold metal chair dug into Kai's back as Luca circled him like a wolf closing in on wounded prey. The dim light cast shadows across the mafia boss's sharp features, his dark eyes unreadable.
Kai Chen(Mc)
(grinning, despite the bruise forming on his jaw): "You know, if you wanted me tied up, all you had to do was ask."
Luca didn't react, except for the slight twitch of his fingers against the edge of the table.
Luca Vitale(ML)
(calm, deadly): "Who sent you?"
Kai Chen(Mc)
(mock gasp): "No 'hello'? No 'how's your day been'? Just straight to business-l respect that."
A knife flashed in Luca's hand, pressed against Kai's throat in an instant
Luca Vitale(ML)
(voice dropping to a whisper): "Try that again, and I'll carve the answers out of you."
Kai's pulse jumped, but his smirk only widened.

Promises, promises
Valentina(Luca's Sister)
(from the doorway, sipping wine): "Brother, why is the stray barking?"
Luca didn't take his eyes off Kai.
Luca Vitale(ML)
He's not a stray. He's a problem
Valentina(Luca's Sister)
(raising a brow): "A problem you're keeping?"
Kai Chen(Mc)
Kai winked at her. "I'm growing on him."
Luca's grip on the knife tightened.
11:30 PM | Outside the Estate - Jasper's "Rescue" Attempt
Jasper crouched behind a dumpster, typ furiously on his laptop.
Jasper(Kai's Bestfriend)
(muttering): "Okay, okay, disable security, locate Kai, don't die-easy."
His phone buzzed-a text from Kai:

If you're planning a rescue, bring snacks
Jasper(Kai's Bestfriend)
(grinning): "Oh, I'm bringing way better than snacks."
He slung a bag over his shoulder-full of smoke bombs, flash grenades, and, inexplicably, a bag of chips.

(cracking his knuckles): "Time to party."
Midnight | Luca's Office - The Deal
Luca tossed a file onto the desk. Inside: everything on Kai's past-his brother's murder, his vendetta, his aliases.

You weren't just hacking for fun. You're hunting
Kai's smirk faltered for the first time.
Luca Vitale(ML)
(leaning in): "I can give you names. Locations. The men who killed your brother."
Kai Chen(Mc)
Kai's eyes burned. "And what do you get out of it?"
Luca's thumb brushed over Kai's split lip, a twisted parody of tenderness
Kai Chen(Mc)
(laughing, sharp and wild): "Careful, Reaper. I bite back."

(frosting a cake, casually): "So, did you stab anyone today?"
Dante(Luca's right hand man)
(grunting, cleaning a gun): "No."

Pouting): "Disappointing."
