Prologue
The wedding hall was adorned with delicate white lilies and golden drapes,
The air heavy with anticipation and the murmurs of guests. The groom, stood before the altar beside his bride-to-be. Their hands were nearly joined in ritual when he paused. A hush fell over the crowd.
Taehyung reached for the microphone. The silence deepened, not even the soft rustle of silk breaking the stillness.
His eyes scanned the room—until they stopped on a single figure seated quietly in the second row.

What's Wrong Taehyung (whisper)
Taehyung stepped forward, a bright smile playing on his lips as he held the mic. The room waited, breath held, expecting the usual words of love and gratitude.

But instead, with a soft laugh and eyes that shimmered with unspoken pain, he began

The audience chuckled, touched by the sweetness.

(Looking at Taehyung with cold expression)
Then his tone shifted, just slightly, the smile still on his face—but now laced with something deeper. A hint of ache.

But while I take this step forward… I know I’m leaving something behind. Someone.
Taehyung
Someone who was meant to be mine… but rejected me.
Jennie
(Wishpered) what are you saying
A silent gasp moved through the crowd. Some turned their heads, some froze. Taehyung’s eyes didn’t wander far.
He looked straight ahead—just for a second—toward the quiet figure in the crowd, the one who wasn’t clapping or smiling.
His smile didn’t fade. But it no longer reached his eyes.

Even if he couldn't love me back... I did. And I always will. That part of me stays with him.

He bowed slightly, handed the mic back, and turned to his bride with grace—while a single pair of eyes in the audience watched him with regret too late to change a thing.

As Taehyung leaned in, inches away from sealing the moment with a kiss to Jennie, time seemed to slow. The crowd was smiling, phones raised, the atmosphere thick with celebration.
A hand grabbed Taehyung's wrist. Firm. Unshakable.
Eyes blazing, chest heaving, his grip tightened as he yanked
Taehyung back with one swift pull, sending a wave of stunned silence through the venue.
Jennie’s eyes widened in disbelief, the priest froze mid-blessing, and murmurs rose like a storm.

"You are only mine!"
Jungkook shouted, his voice echoing through the hall.
Behind them, Taehyung’s parents stood frozen, shock and confusion etched deep into their faces. Guests rose from their chairs, Jennie stumbled back, hurt flooding her eyes.
