The room was quite no one spoke only the bell herself smiling

Does she ever frown or even get angry??? I wondered and it seamed like my Dad’s coldness did nothing to her.

“That was long before I meet your mum” Dad said sounding annoyed

No one at the table seamed shocked about their behavior. I guess they usually meet.

“Yeah” the woman replied not sounding interested about the details “Bruce”.

Dad looked at her annoyed “mmmm”

“What do we do about the land and the safety of the people there” she said and for once she looked serious

An hour pass and they where ranting about a certain land and how to protect it to keep the balance of realms or something like that. It was boring. But I had nothing to say. I sat there as maps where drawn on the screen.

This continued and I excused myself from the conversation to the bathroom it was an excuse to get time for myself

I walked down the hall way and saw Aunty Lara in one of the rooms she looked busy so I just passed by when to my room .

I came back 30 minutes later they where still on the lands. I sat down quickly not to distract anyone

Another 30 minutes pass

“That’s it”the woman said

“Okay”

“Let’s talk about the other reason we are all here”

“Lin please “

“But we have to tell her, the earlier the better”

“Does it concern me” I said and now they were just staring at each other. How I couldn’t believe that all 25 people here knew what this is about except me

“Bruce, she doesn’t even know the whole story does she?”

“Which story” I said sounding confused

“Okay, Okay let have a small chart” he pointed to the woman who reluctantly followed

They moved to the other side of the room and talked

What was this about that had my dad upset, that he didn’t want me to hear

After a while they came sat down and looked at each other and I saw my dad nod his head and she also nodded.

This was is not going to be good I could tell

She inhaled looked at me then said “Ailee, dear sometimes life doesn’t go the way we plan it “ she paused and looked at my dad again then continued “sometimes the decision made by others for us are the best. You my dear are one of the the very few blessed by the God himself. I just want you to know that sometimes following fate is the best thing ever”

Then she smiled “You my dear have been fated to someone great” “What this means is that you will be getting .. ............”

I felt it bad news. How bad was it would the impact destroy me

She looked me in the eye and blew my mind with the last word “ married “

...So who could Ailee be getting married to???? ...

How will she take it

Should she accept her fate or fight it

But she can not run
