“Buzz “

That’s a lot of noise I opened my eyes to see the sun from behind the curtains I guess it’s already morning. Then the noise again ,I extended my hand and hit the alarm.... I was about to drift back to sleep when i checked the time it 7:02am

“ woah it 7:02 already” I said realizing I have class that morning and I had less than 30 minutes to prepare for class

I quickly rush to the bath room to take a shower stormed out and dressed as fast as I could then I checked my reflection in the mirror and I was okay so I went downstairs to meet breakfast being served so I sat by the table ready to eat. And for the first time it hit me hard, on this huge and large table I was the only one sitting there going to eat

“Aunty Lara “ I called out to my nanny

“ yes dear is there anything u want” she asked.

“ when is my father coming home “ she stared at me “ he’s been gone for a while now”

She reached out her hand to hold mine and robbed it “ Darling “ she said with that look of sincerity in her eyes “ I don’t when he will becoming but I want u to know that he loves you and will becoming soon”

“ but when I’m tired of having to live life lonely when he moves about traveling making business deals “ my voice dropped “ why does he not care about me”

She hugged me and said “ You always have me and Ivy we love u a lot “

“ I know “ I just stood up I had lost interest in the food

“ Where to “ she asked “ you didn’t even touch your food” she looked concerned

I smiled at her “ I’ve lost interest in the food “ I responded weakly

“ Aunty Lara, please tell Ivy I will be waiting for her in the car” I sad and head out

I drove us to school but the ride was quiet Ivy decided not to speak a word and I really appreciated it

I head towards my locker and just picked a book and went to class at the door I took in a deep breath “ this is going to be another boring day” I whispered and enter the class

The went on as normal as it could be and soon school was over on my way home Ivy and I decided to go to the mall before we go home. We spent a lil bit of cash here and there on bags and on anything that we liked. Then we went to the restaurant across the mall to get food.

We eat and made a little conversation here and there it was fun actually

I guess Aunty Lara was right at least I had Ivy, she was like my own very own sister from another mother

We sat in the car and started to drive us home. The journey back was not really eventful. We jut casually listened to music make jokes and laugh. When we got home Aunty Lara was already waiting for us and there were a lot of cars around

“Is my ..... father “ I hesitated for a while and she nodded

I run into the house to meet our dining table full of guests but my father was not part of the faces there and I looked at his regular sit at the head of the table he was not there

So I run tu the study and there he was the same old face and aura and then I said

“ Dad”
