throat felt dry, her voice barely above a whisper. "W-what...happened?"

A figure moved into her line of sight, a kind-faced doctor with a warm smile.

You were in a car accident, Lena. You've been in a coma for two years.
Lena's mind reeled, her memories hazy. Two years? How could that be? She remembered the car accident, the feeling of her world crashing down around her.
Doctor
The doctor continued, "You're lucky to be alive, Lena. You've got a long road to recovery ahead of you, but we're here to help."
Lena's gaze drifted around the hospital room, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. Where was she? What had happened to her empire, her business?
A faint sense of unease crept over her, a feeling that something was off. But what?

You were driving home from a business meeting, Lena. You were...celebrating a major victory. The police report said you lost control of the car, but we're not entirely sure what happened."
Lena's eyes narrowed, her mind racing. Celebrating a major victory... The Chandler deal! She remembered now – she had won the billion-dollar contract, and her empire was on the verge of exploding.

The doctor turned to leave, but paused at the doorway. "Oh, yes...maybe it's the guy who saved you, Lena."

The door swung open, and the brooding figure stepped into the room, his piercing eyes locking onto Lena's...
and the stranger walked in, his rugged features chiseled from granite, his eyes gleaming with a rough intensity. He sauntered over to Lena's bedside, his movements fluid and confident.

But more than your thanks for saving you, I need the money back that those doctors asked from me just because I brought you here.
Lena's face burned with indignation, but the stranger's words kept coming, each one a slap in the face.

"If I'd known that just a little bit of kindness would cost me this much, I wouldn't have sacrificed my booze and pulled you out of that burning tin can."
The stranger's gaze narrowed, his eyes glinting with a mixture of anger and annoyance.

"So, how about it? You going to pay me back, or do I have to take it out of your hide?"
