Episode 16 – "Daniel, We Have a Problem"

Ella sat in the café, stirring her drink so aggressively that even the ice was scared.

Treasure and Victoria sat across from her, waiting for the chaos.

Treasure: "So, you gonna tell him or what?"

Ella: "I don’t know, I don’t know, I DON’T KNOW!"

Victoria: "Girl, the longer you wait, the worse it gets."

Ella groaned, resting her head on the table. "I swear to God, if that man smirks when I tell him, I’m knocking his ass out."

Treasure: "Just call him."

Ella sighed, pulled out her phone, and dialed Daniel.

The Call

Daniel: "Yo, what’s up, babe?"

Ella: "We need to talk."

Daniel: "Damn, you sound serious. Am I in trouble?"

Ella: "Just meet me at my place. Now."

Daniel: "Aight, I’m on my way."

The Reveal

Daniel walked into Ella’s room, looking confused.

Daniel: "Okay, what’s the big deal?"

Ella took a deep breath. "Daniel, I—"

Her voice cracked. She couldn’t even say it.

Treasure, being the chaotic one, grabbed the pregnancy tests and THREW them at Daniel.

Treasure: "Boom. There’s your answer, Mr. Champion."

Daniel caught one and looked at the result.

Positive.

He blinked. Then looked at Ella.

Back at the test.

Back at Ella.

Daniel: "Wait… wait… wait. Are you serious??"

Ella: "No, I’m pranking you with three fake-ass pregnancy tests, OBVIOUSLY I’M SERIOUS."

Daniel just sat there, processing.

Treasure whispered to Victoria: "Betting 5K that he freaks out."

Victoria: "I say he runs."

But instead, Daniel…

Smirked.

Ella’s eye twitched. "Why the FUCK are you smiling?"

Daniel: "Damn, so I really got it like that?"

Ella grabbed a pillow and THREW it at him. "THIS IS NOT FUNNY!"

Daniel laughed, dodging. "Relax, babe. I mean… it’s wild, but it’s not the end of the world."

Ella: "NOT THE END OF THE WORLD?! My whole life is over!"

Daniel walked up to her, holding her hands. "Look, I got you. We’ll figure this out together, okay?"

Ella stared at him. "You’re not running?"

Daniel: "Hell no. If anything, I just leveled up."

Treasure clapped. "Damn. Unexpected W from Daniel."

Victoria wiped a fake tear. "Beautiful."

Ella sighed. "I swear, if this baby comes out looking exactly like you, I’m gonna fight it."

9 months.

For 9 whole months, Ella hid her pregnancy like a damn pro.

How Ella Hid It:

Oversized hoodies & jackets – Even in hot-ass weather, she rocked them like a fashion statement.

Strategic sitting – Always had a bag, book, or even a pillow in front of her stomach.

Skipping sports & events – No one questioned why she suddenly became allergic to P.E.

Fake "food poisoning" – Every time she felt sick in class, she blamed bad cafeteria food.

Avoiding tight spaces – She stopped hugging people too much so no one could feel her stomach.

Even Treasure and Victoria were shocked at how well she kept it low-key.

The Breaking Point

It was a normal day.

Ella and Daniel were at the school hospital for a "routine check-up" (a.k.a. making sure the baby was still chillin’).

But then—

Her water broke.

Ella: "OH SHIT—"

Daniel: "OH SHIT—"

Nurse: "OH SHIT—"

Everyone in the waiting area turned to look.

Treasure (who came for moral support) screamed and ran in circles.

Treasure: "SHE’S GONNA EXPLODE!"

Victoria smacked her. "CALM DOWN, SHE’S HAVING A BABY, NOT A GRENADE."

The nurse rushed Ella into the emergency room. Daniel ran beside her, sweating bullets.

Ella: "DANIEL, YOU BASTARD, THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"

Daniel: "I KNOW, BABE, I’M SORRY, BUT PLEASE DON’T CRUSH MY HAND—"

Ella’s grip was so strong Daniel swore she broke a bone.

The Birth – A Warzone

The doctor: "Okay, Ella, you need to push."

Ella: "PUSH?! WHAT DO YOU THINK I’VE BEEN DOING, PLAYING FIFA?!"

Daniel: "Babe, breathe—"

Ella: "IF YOU SAY ‘BREATHE’ ONE MORE TIME, I’LL KILL YOU."

Treasure: "Damn, I wish I had popcorn for this."

Victoria: "Why are you like this?!"

Ella screamed, sweat dripping down her face. She had never felt pain like this before.

Daniel: "Just a little more, babe, you got this!"

Ella: "DANIEL, I SWEAR IF THIS BABY COMES OUT LOOKING LIKE YOU, I’M THROWING HANDS."

After what felt like a whole lifetime…

A baby’s cry filled the room.

Doctor: "It’s a boy!"

Ella collapsed back, panting.

Doctor: "Wait… there’s another one."

Ella: "ANOTHER ONE?!"

Daniel: "TWINS?!"

Treasure: "LMAOOO. DOUBLE TROUBLE."

Victoria: "Treasure, SHUT UP!"

Ella had no choice but to keep pushing.

One final scream, and—

Doctor: "It’s a girl!"

Two babies.

Ella lay there, exhausted, sweating, and in disbelief.

Daniel wiped his face like he just ran a marathon.

Treasure and Victoria were already arguing about who would be the godmother.

Treasure: "I call dibs on the girl."

Victoria: "EXCUSE ME? You didn’t even HELP her through labor!"

Treasure: "I was providing moral support!"

Ella weakly opened her eyes as the nurses placed the tiny, beautiful babies in her arms.

She looked at them, her anger and pain disappearing in an instant.

Ella (whispering): "Damn… they’re cute."

Daniel smiled, his heart melting.

Daniel: "Yeah… they really are."

And just like that, life as they knew it had changed forever.
