I trudged through the front door, exhausted from my part-time job. But my fatigue instantly lifted when I saw Lyn cooking dinner in the kitchen.
I smiled, feeling grateful for my sister. We came from a rich and lavish life, but after our parents went missing, we had to adjust to a more humble lifestyle. Lyn had taken on a lot of household responsibilities, and I appreciated her efforts.
"Dinner's ready!" Lyn called out, beaming at me.
We sat down to eat together, chatting about our problems. Our parents had been missing for a week now, and we were getting worried.
I looked at my sister who's still worrying about our parents, he's too young for this
"Don't worry, Lyn," I said, trying to reassure her. "We'll get through this together."
She responded to me with a smile and continue eating her dinner
After dinner, I washed the dishes and headed to my room. I rest for a moment and realized I want to see my self in my disguise, so I decided to try on my disguise, putting on lenses and a wig. I looked in the mirror and barely recognized myself. I looked so pretty and so classy . It's not very me oh my
Just then, I heard the door open, and Lyn's jaw dropped. " what are you wearing sis" looking at her confused and explain to her about my disguise plan and my matching blah blah business or whatever is that called
"Wow, you look...completely different!" she exclaimed.
I laughed, feeling confident in my disguise. "Thanks, Lyn! I'm thinking of using this for my matching business."
Lyn's eyes sparkled with interest. "That's a great idea! You're totally unrecognizable."
I grinned, feeling more confident than ever. I decided to match myself with the guy who had been causing problems for my clients. His name was Brent, and he was from the other section, same year as me.
When I met Brent, I was surprised by how kind and gentle he was. He was handsome, too, with piercing blue eyes and chiseled features.
As we walked to school together, I realized that Brent was nothing like what the girls had described. He was a perfect gentleman, holding doors open for me and offering me his seat in the cafeteria. He even serve my meal for me and guess what he's not even clumsy like they say, he can even hold the try in one hand
I was amazed by how wrong my clients had been about Brent. He was kind, considerate, and genuinely nice.
As that day drew to a close, I felt grateful to have met Brent. He had proven himself to be a true gentleman, and I was happy to have been wrong about him.
"I had a great time today," Brent said, smiling at me.
I smiled back, feeling a spark of connection. "I did too."
As we parted ways, I couldn't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, I had found someone special.
I walked home, feeling a sense of excitement and possibility. Who knew what the future held? But my plan still mist go on to prove those girls wrong about him
