I was sitting alone at lunch, trying to focus on my math homework, when a girl plopped down beside me.

"Hey, Lina! What's up?" a girl asked, her bright pink hair clips matching her infectious smile.

"Not much, J Just trying to get this math homework done," I replied, trying to hide my frustration.

" Oh it looks hard" I looked at her, and she looked at me smiling like joy from inside out

" I'm jean by the way, I'm your classmate well to properly Don know because I'm sitting at the back and your infant and that's hard for you because you can't see our classmates at the back like me"

She's so talkative, and her vibe it making me happy

Jean nodded sympathetically. "Math sucks, right? But I have a way more interesting problem. Want to hear about it?"

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What's going on?"

Jean leaned in, her voice barely above a whisper. "I have a crush on this guy, Alex. He's on the chess team, and he's so smart and cute! But I don't know how to talk to him."

I couldn't help but giggle. "well I can see your always so confident, Jean. What's holding you back this time?"

Jean blushed. "I don't know...I guess I just really like him, and I don't want to mess it up."

I nodded understandingly. "I get it. But maybe I can help you? We could come up with a plan to get your crush's attention."

Jean's face lit up. "Really? You'd do that for me?"

I smiled. "Of course, Jean. That's what friends are for."

We spent the rest of lunch brainstorming ideas, from baking him cookies to "accidentally" bumping into him in the hallway.

But then Jean had an even more elaborate idea...

"Lina, what if we dress up as chess pieces and surprise him after class? It'll be so romantic and memorable!"

I raised an eyebrow, skeptical. "Jean, are you sure that's a good idea? What if he thinks it's weird?"

But Jean was undeterred. "Trust me, Lina. This will be epic."

I couldn't help but laugh at Jean's enthusiasm. "Okay, fine. Let's do it."

Little did I know, our little plan would end up causing more chaos than romance...
