It’s been a week since Dr. Harris resigned. Trisha and Matthias are slowly growing closer, but both remain guarded. They’re in a cozy restaurant after hours—Matthias finally convinced her to go out for dinner.

Matthias: (smirking) "You have to admit, the food’s better than hospital cafeteria fare."

Trisha: (teasing) "That’s a low bar, Mr. Williams. Even instant noodles would win that contest."

Matthias laughs, and for a moment, Trisha’s guard drops. She relaxes, almost enjoying herself.

Dr. Harris: (smirking) "Do it."

Back at the hospital, Trisha notices strange things happening. Equipment orders are delayed, patient records are misplaced, and there’s a growing sense of chaos. One day, during a critical surgery, an essential machine malfunctions.

Nurse Angela: (panicked) "Dr. Trisha, the ventilator isn’t responding!"

Trisha: (calm but focused) "Switch to manual ventilation. Call maintenance—now!"

The surgery is saved, but Trisha is furious. She storms into Matthias’s office.

Trisha: (angrily) "What’s going on, Matthias? This hospital is falling apart!"

Matthias: (confused) "What do you mean?"

Trisha: "The ventilator malfunctioned during surgery. Orders are delayed, files are missing—this isn’t normal."

Matthias: (frowning) "I’ll look into it. I promise."

Unbeknownst to them, Evelyn has planted someone inside the hospital to sabotage operations, fueling distrust between Trisha and Matthias.

The tension between Trisha and Matthias grows as the hospital’s issues escalate. Evelyn’s manipulations begin to take effect.

Trisha: (accusingly) "You’re the CEO, Matthias. This is your responsibility!"

Matthias: (defensive) "And I’m doing everything I can to fix it! Do you think I don’t care?"

Trisha: (softly, but with pain) "Sometimes… I don’t know what you care about."

Matthias looks hurt but doesn’t respond. Trisha walks away, leaving him alone in his office.

Late one night, Carter uncovers evidence linking the hospital’s recent issues to Evelyn Grant. He rushes to Matthias with the findings.

Carter: "It’s sabotage. Evelyn Grant’s been working with Harris. They’ve been pulling strings to create chaos and frame you."

Matthias: (angry) "Evelyn Grant? Why would she care about this hospital?"

Carter: "She doesn’t. She cares about money—and Harris is paying her a lot of it."

Matthias: (determined) "Then we expose them. All of it."

The next morning, Trisha is called into another disciplinary meeting. Evelyn is there, representing a group of investors who are now threatening to pull funding from the hospital. Matthias enters mid-meeting, holding Carter’s evidence.

Evelyn: (smirking) "It seems Dr. Trisha’s incompetence is costing this hospital more than just its reputation."

Matthias: (calmly) "Actually, Ms. Grant, the only incompetence here is yours."

He hands the evidence to the board, exposing Evelyn and Harris’s sabotage. Evelyn’s smirk fades as the board members begin reading.

Board Member 1: (angrily) "Ms. Grant, this is damning. You and Dr. Harris have endangered patients and this hospital’s operations."

Evelyn: (trying to recover) "This is a misunderstanding—"

Matthias: (cutting her off) "The only misunderstanding was trusting you. Security will escort you out."

As Evelyn is removed, Trisha watches Matthias, a new respect growing in her eyes.

Later that night, Trisha finds Matthias in the hospital garden. She hesitates before sitting beside him.

Trisha: "You saved the hospital. Again."

Matthias: (smiling) "Team effort."

Trisha: (softly) "I’m sorry for doubting you. I’ve spent so much of my life expecting people to let me down… I didn’t know how to trust you."

Matthias: (looking at her) "I get it. But I’m not going anywhere, Trisha. Not now, not ever."

For the first time, Trisha lets her guard down completely. She smiles—a genuine, unguarded smile.

Trisha: "Maybe… maybe I can start believing that."

As the camera pans out, Dr. Harris is seen in a secluded location, speaking to someone on the phone.

Dr. Harris: "We may have lost this round, but it’s not over. They’ll regret underestimating me."

The screen fades to black, hinting at more challenges to come.
