Chapter 2: New Friend Maybe?

Seita and Ayane enjoyed eating their lunch, they talked about the things they have in common and they talked about their hobbies. While they were happily talking, the bell suddenly rang and their teacher entered, causing them both to return to their seats. While their teacher was teaching and attracted Seita's attention and it seemed as if someone called him.

"Seita, are you busy later? let's go home" Ayane whispered.

"If you're okay with me coming, why not?" Seita answered in a whisper.

Ayane was happy and couldn't stop it. Their teacher noticed this and scolded him. Ayane immediately apologized and their class continued. the bell rang saying the class was over. Seitang immediately packed things to be ready to go home.

"Are you coming home soon Seita? I thought we would go home together?" Ayane asked in surprise.

"sorry I forgot, I thought you were just joking earlier" Seita answered shyly.

"why should I joke about that?" Ayane asked.

"because if you look at it, you are beautiful and smart. Another thing is that you are popular in school, then you can talk and make friends with people like me? won't that ruin your reputation?" said Seita because he knew in himself that he and Ayane were not on the same level.

"what are they for? It's my decision and they can't do anything about it," Ayane said.

"okay-okay, let's go" said Seita happily.

The two walked together down the stairs and out of the school.

"Ayane, I wanted to ask something" Seita suddenly said

"what is that?" Ayane replied.

"why do you want to be my friend?, I'm not smart and smart. I'm not popular at school either, I just wondered why" Seita asked while continuing to wonder why.

"i found you interesting and I feel that you are a good person" Ayane replied.

Seita was surprised and moved by what Ayane said so he couldn't say a word and kept walking, while Ayane followed him. They talked and talked while they were on their way in their house. It didn't take long and they were surprised to find out that their house was next to each other.

"were neighbors??!" Seita shouted in shock.

"i guess so" Ayane answered calmly.

"well, I'll go home first. my video games are waiting for me at home" said Ayane.

"see ya tomorrow!" the two said goodbye to each other. Seita was about to enter their house when suddenly the door refused to open. He learned that his parents had left to work, and it would be a long time before they returned. There is a letter on the door and the key is on the letter and under the doormat.

"Am I alone at home again?" Seita said sadly because he didn't want to be alone.Seita immediately cooked a dish to eat and wash the dishes. After that, he immediately entered the room to sleep.
