CHAPTER 5: THE FINAL PARCEL

On the same bustling day in Seoul, while the city hums with activity, people go about their daily lives—working, earning, and supporting their loved ones. In the heart of this lively city, a cozy small building houses a corporate office where employees are busy attending to their tasks. The air is thick with the sound of typing, the shuffling of papers, and the hushed urgency of meeting deadlines. Employees scurry around, some preparing presentations, others buried in piles of documents, racing against the clock.

Among them is a certain individual in his cabin, sitting quietly at his desk, pouting adorably as he glares at the monitor in front of him. "When am I going to finish this huge pile of documents? I just want to go home and sleep all day,"he mumbles, complaining to himself with a frustrated but cute pout. Some of his coworkers, catching a glimpse of his adorable expression, can't help but squeal quietly, admiring him with soft, affectionate gazes. But Kim Taehyung, the beloved worker of the company, is completely unaware of their attention. The main protagonist of this story is too busy grumbling to himself about his never-ending workload.

Despite his complaints, Taehyung is known for his dedication and sincerity. He always completes his tasks efficiently, no matter how much he pouts or grumbles. His coworkers love him not only for his hard work but for the warm, charming presence he brings to the office.

After what feels like forever, Taehyung finally finishes the last of his work. Stretching his arms and neck, he lets out a satisfied sigh. Just then, one of his coworkers calls him. "Hey, Tae, it's lunchtime. Let's go to the cafeteria."

Taehyung nods in agreement, closing his monitor and following his coworker to grab lunch. After enjoying a hearty meal and sipping on his favorite strawberry milkshake, Taehyung heads back to his cabin. As he walks, he passes by a large window, and something catches his attention—the sky, painted with beautiful clouds, looks mesmerizing. Taehyung stands by the window, admiring the sky, his mind drifting to memories of the past.

Absentmindedly, he begins to play with the ring on his finger—a delicate, precious symbol of a love he once cherished. His eyes, though fixed on the clouds, hold a hidden sadness. "I miss you so much, Woo," he mumbles softly, the words barely a whisper. "It's been so difficult for me. I don't know what to do anymore. Help me, Woo-ah."

Lost in thought, Taehyung lingers by the window for a few more moments before shaking off his feelings. He turns to head back to his desk when suddenly, a voice calls out to him. "Taehyung, someone's here to see you."

Confused, Taehyung furrows his brow. "Someone's here for me? At work?"He wonders who it could be but decides to go and find out.

When he steps outside, a delivery man greets him with a polite nod. "Good afternoon, sir. I have a parcel here for you. Please sign the label."

Taehyung blinks in confusion. A parcel? At his workplace? "Who would send me a parcel here?" he thinks to himself. But without questioning further, he signs the label and accepts the package. As he walks back to his cabin, curiosity tugs at him. Who could have sent him this?

Once he's back inside, Taehyung wastes no time in opening the parcel, his fingers moving swiftly like a curious child unwrapping a gift. Inside, he finds a voucher—addressed to him, just like the others received by Yeonjun and the Sope couple. His eyes widen in surprise as he reads the details on the voucher.

As he studies the voucher, a mix of emotions floods him—curiosity, confusion, and a strange thrill that something big is about to happen. He can feel it. There's something brewing, something far beyond the ordinary routine of his life.
