Chapter 4: Roommate

Unknown place*

An owner of a certain pair of red glowing eyes sat on his throne with an unmistakable look of annoyance in his eyes.

" I told her to exercise restraint but no.....," he grumbled to himself.

" At this rate she will end up kidnapping her instead," he mumbled in annoyance.

Pressing his aching temples, he looked into nothingness and snapped his fingers and Kyle immediately appeared to the summon.

Kyle felt a shiver run down his spine as he looked at his master who summoned him out of nowhere and bowed politely.

" Go send a message to Laura and tell her to be cautious and not look too deep into her soul," he ordered tiredly.

Kyle nodded and disappeared into a dark mist and the room returned to it's former silence.

The red eyed man sighed in utter defeat and slumped further into his seat. ' If only I wasn't restrained by the order...," he thought silently.

Back on earth*

Tracy who still stood in the midst of the trees suddenly felt a distortion in space and frowned a bit. She looked around her but could still not see anything or anyone.

The princess had always been the one to follow her instincts and was very spiritually perceptive though she was unaware of that fact. She was well aware that there was something beyond her current reach and did not want to get involved so she slowly walked away.

Turning back to the direction in which she came from, she walked slowly but yet, still felt drawn to what was behind her. Stoping for a second, she looked back and then unexpectedly made a full sprint.

Unknowingly, Tracy had actually walked deep into the forest and urgently had to get out of it before sunset.

The wind brushed past her ears making the hoodie of her cloak fall off revealing slightly curly jet black hair that flew with the wind. The princess found herself having the strong impulse of jumping and so she did.

After side stepping a tree trunk she abnormally took a leap into the air and felt as if something had taken control over her body. A demonic smirk bloomed on her face as she looked ahead, took another leap, got hold of a tree trunk and agilely swung herself into the next tree.

Her demonically attractive smile quickly turned into a crazed one as she leaped and flipped from tree to tree.

'finally....,'she thought.

' I'm free.... '

*In another realm*

A certain old man who sat in a rocking chair gently sipped on his tea while looking into the void. A small smile curled up on his face as he mumbled to himself.

" what else is this child going to surprise me with,"

A smirk full of mischief crawled up his face as he stared intently into the void with an entertained look.

Back on earth.*

Tray who had just emerged of the forest right before sunset looked around cautiously and once again covered herself with her cloak. She calmly walked to the girls dormitory and ran into some gossip along the way.

" Have you heard that someone has been allocated to room 208?," they whispered.

" I've heard so too," another one chorused.

Tray calmly walked past them and entered the building without an ounce of hesitation on her face, but only God knew how nervous she was on the inside.

Upon entering the building, her admiration for the magnificence of the building overshadowed her nervousness as she looked around in curiosity from under her cloak. " So many rooms...," she thought.

Tray made her way upstairs and had to climb three flights of stairs before finally reaching the third floor.

After looking around a bit, still being unable to find room 208 because of the complicated interior design, she stopped a short and timid looking girl in glasses and asked politely.

"Hey, may you please tell me where room 208 is. "

The girl's expression morphed into shock and her complexion visibly turned pale. Tracy watched in amusement as the girl began to stutter and point towards the west wing where another flight of stairs seemingly led to.... another floor.

She nodded in understanding and acknowledgment and the girl quickly scrambled away before she could even say "thank you".

Taking in a deep breath, she sighed heavily and walked nobly towards the stairs, looked up and climbed up. From the corner of her eye she saw doors open and people peak out from their dorm rooms, with fear, an unmistakable emotion being reflected from their eyes.

" There seems to be something hidden in that room I see... ", she thought.

Pursing her lips lightly, she continued to climb the stairs and upon reaching what seemed to be a fourth floor, she looked around and smiled in surprise.

" Well this seems isolated," she thought.

She walked lightly towards the only room on the entire floor, room number 208. After knocking the door lightly and receiving no response, she reached her hand to the door knob, she opened it and went in along with her luggage that had been left at the door, untouched.

Closing the door behind her, she looked around in the dark room, why there as no light. Dropping her luggage to the floor, she walked around with light steps as she observed her surroundings that were being luminated by the setting sun.

She looked into the darkest corner of the room, where no ray of sunshine reached and without thinking much about anything, she approached carefully. Tracy could hear the pounding of her own heart as she reached out her hand into the dark.

The princess's heart clenched as she felt a hand clasp her own and almost screamed as she fell softly into a warm embrace. Tray lay in a pair of hands stiffly while her mind was still clouded by confusion.

She felt a familiar pulsing energy in her body and eventually relaxed then hugged this unfamiliar person back. They stayed like that in silence for some minutes until the figure in Trays arms wiggled a bit and mumbled,"hie",in a choking voice.

Tracy giggled internally and replied," hey there. I hope you are ok.." The girl who was still in her arms replied," Yes. Now that you're here,I am glad."

The girl snuck her hand around Tracy's waist and pulled her closer as she inhaled her scent while Tracy quickly got comfortable in her arms.

----------------

Blue colored eyes stared intently at a sleeping Tracy while her silver hair cascaded from her head, falling on the sleeping girls cheeks.

Her hot fingers traced along The Sleeping Beauty's jawline, down to her neck and eventually went a bit lower.... A blush spread across her cheeks when she heard a light hum from the sleeping girl. Her eyes scanned Tracy all over as if imprinting her image in her memory.

At the moment, only a single candle lit up the whole room, and it was only early into the night.

The other girls hand trembled a bit as she reached out to touch Tracy's own.

Tracy's eyelashes trembled a bit as she slowly opened her eyes to meet a pair of beautiful and enchanting sapphire blue eyes.

The two girls looked at each other, no one trying to speak up first and that's when Tracy noticed her roommate's hand over her own.

Tray smiled as she looked at her and wiggled her brows teasingly. "So that's what you have been hiding," she said.

The girl chuckled softly and replied. " Hey, let me introduce myself. My name is Laura and I'll be your roommate nobody knows from now on."

She smiled happily which slightly dispersed the aura of danger which was around her.

After looking at her for a few seconds, Tracy finally replied.

" My name is Tracy Laroy .And I hope we will get along very well... And I wonder why those people looked at me with dread when I asked for room number 208."

She tilted her head to the side as she gazed at Laura with curiosity, who grinned wickedly in response. Tracy saw a glint of light flash in Laura's s eyes and she could almost swear it was real but kept her cool.

Laura sat in front of Tracy on the bed, looked at her dead in the eye and moved closer to her. She snuck her hand around Tracy's waist for the second time and pulled herself closer to her, looking at her from above while also pinning her to the bed.

She got lost in Tracy's eyes for some seconds and a dark aura seemed to seep from her bones.

" They fear me," her voice echoed in the room.

Her two hands gripped the girl who was in her arms tightly as she asked, "are you afraid of me too, princess?"

Tray stared at Laura for some seconds and asked.

" Why would I be afraid of the first person who hugged me besides my own parents? I already feel drawn to you so why would I hate or fear you? I fear no danger," she replied honestly.

Laura stared into Tray's eyes which conveyed honesty and was dazed for a while. Laura's nose turned sour, and she hid her face in the crook of Tracy's neck and inhaled her sweet scent. " Thank you. You are the one…" she replied.

Tracy stretched out her arms to hug Laura and glided her hand on her back comforting her. " You are my friend from now onwards, don't thank me,it's what friends do."

After Laura recollected herself, she looked at her new friend with her rabbit eyes and pouted her lips. "You're my only friend. I don't know what friends do but you have to deal with me," she said as her lips wobbled after.

Tray chuckled softly as she looked at someone's adorable appearance.

" Of course Laura....."
