Chapter 1:It has just begun.

Chapter one:It's only the start

Beads of sweat rolled down from her forehead dampening her hair along with her heavy breathing echoing in the room. Her heart beat quickened as she clutched the bed sheets. "No.." she mumbled in her sleep.

"Zaloy.....," the demonic voice in her head whispered.

"Just like your parents.....," the voice seethed. The voice repeated its words over and over again sounding like demonic chants in her mind. Gradually, a dark purple and golden haze enveloped her body as half of her black hair turned into golden strands of hair. A black horn with golden patterns sprouted from within the dark portion of her hair as a golden halo surrounded the horn.

Tracy groaned subconsciously as her eyes suddenly shot wide open revealing irises of different colors, one being dark purple, and the other a deep and dazzling shade of gold.

 Tracy began levitating in mid-air over her bed as her arms and legs hung loosely in the air. Suddenly, a soothing voice rang in her ear, "calm down. Go back, it's not yet time," it whispered.

The girl's breathing gradually became stable as the golden haze overlapped the dark aura of death around her. Her body slowly dropped back onto the bed which she once lay on as her sleeping appearance returned to normal and the light subsided.

A cute and peaceful smile appeared on her pretty face as another day approached.

'knock, knock , knock '

A series of knocking sounds rang from the outside of Tracy's room right before Leena, her mother entered with a cheeky smile on her face. " Rise and shine my love! It's the day you are going to he academy! You have a long way to go"

 Leena strode towards the midnight black curtains and opened them with vigor,which wouldn't be expected from the empress she is.

Tray, whose figure was sprawled on the bed, subconsciously got a hold of her quilt and covered her face. Her mom stared at her with annoyance but her attention quickly got diverted to the golden clock on the wall. *sigh *

She made a hand lifting motion towards the quilt and it immediately flew  across the room. "Argh! Mom!!" Tracy groaned and opened her eyes tiredly and gave her mother a hard glare..

"Don't look at me like that missy, look at the clock instead," she said as a wide grin bloomed on her face.

Tray stretched her neck to look at the clock that was above her bedside and immediately flew out of bed. She went to her mom and gave her kiss and mumbled 'good morning ' under her breath.Her mom gave her a satisfied smile and instructed her.

 " let ur servants come in and help you bathe and dress up. By the time you are done, breakfast would be ready....and the carriage too. Am I understood young lady?...

  " Yes,Queen Mother," she bowed as she replied in an  exaggerated manner.

She turned her back to her mom and abnormally reached the bathroom which was  a few meters away in one step. Leena shook her head and whispered to herself, "those monsters gave birth to a beast."

Maids quickly came into he room and bowed to the empress, then made their way to the bathroom upon getting the signal.

Leena giggled and the clock which was on the wall twitched a few times.

Leena smiled approvingly at the clock before walking out of the room and shutting the door. Meanwhile,in the bathroom,Tracy watched helplessly as her maid ran in to pour accented oils into the bath water. After taking a bath,the maids quickly got their princess dressed in a light travelling dress.

" you look very beautiful your Highness...," Ella,one of her maids commented while combing her hair.

 A small slime bloomed on her face as she began scanning her pretty heart shaped face through the mirror.She had naturally slightly curly hair which reached her knees.

Her hair was a deep jet black along with the eyebrows that hung like curtains over her big almond shaped eyes. Her long and dark eyelashes cast a shadow of loneliness in her silver colored eyes. She pouted her cute pink lips and stared at herself. "I wonder whether they will like me or not," she said to herself.

Tracy always wondered why she was different from her parents who had pale white skin while her skin was honey toned. She wondered why she was the only person in the royal family with black curly hair instead of blonde. None of the family members she knew had silver-grey eyes so she always questioned herself.

Turning her back to the mirror, the princess lowered one sleeve of her dress exposing her back. And behold,a crescent moon birthmark the size of her palm lay imprinted on her spine.

Her instinct always told her that she was not normal but she ignored it and thought otherwise. Besides having the identity of a princess,she was nothing special,so as she thought.

She snapped out of her thoughts and turned to look at her maids. " thank you for staying by my side all the 15 years of my life... I will cherish everything we have been through together." *smiled sadly*

Ella:*tears up*" I'm proud that I got serve you and I am sure they are too...," she said looking back at everyone.

Everyone: *bow* " we are proud to serve you your Highness."

Tracy smiled approvingly and walked towards the door with the intention of going downstairs.

Right before reaching the doorknob,she turned to look at the golden clock over her bedside. She glared at it suspiciously and the clock shook a few times making Tray blink her eyes in confusion. She stared hard again for a few seconds but the clock lay motionless. The girl shrugged it off and strode out of the room.

... meanwhile, back in her room, if you look closely, you would see small beads of water on the clock as it shook for a while as if having a panic attack.

Downstairs,where the main hall was located,a domineering and majestic long table stood proudly in the middle of the room giving off an imposing aura.

Raymond, Tracy's father and king of Laron Empire sat in the main seat,with his head bowed while Leena glared at him angrily.

The scene looked very funny and it seemed as if the two were having a telepathic conversation, which they were.

Lee:"how could you Ray? When the hell where you going to tell me this?," she growled telepathically..

Ray looked apologetically at her and replied

Ray: " I'm sorry my love,but it is a must,I knew you wouldn't let me."

Lee:" Ray,but it is a freaking school with supernaturals"

Ray:" calm down Lee. She will be fine. She will be protected from the shadows. Plus, although supernaturals interact with humans,only a supernatural can know a supernatural. Her real identity and strength has been hidden,and they would only know her as a the are to the throne of the Empire.

Raymond reasoned with his wife telepathically. He saw the uncertainty in his wife's eyes and his eyes flashed. Ray looked at his wife and slowly said..

" Remember the incident?"he asked and immediately saw the fear in Leena's eyes.

He continued," Those two monsters gave birth to a beast that could kill at two years old. It's only about time before she knows."

Lee and Ray looked as each other as they had a flashback

*FLASHBACK*

Dating back to thirteen years ago,little Tracy was playing hide and seek in the palace with her mommy and daddy. After looking for a while,she still couldn't find them,so she went outside. She searched and searched but after not being able to find them,her attention was drawn to something else. A forest. Yes,a forest.

The rulers of the human  domain had the knowledge of supernaturals that no ordinary person had the knowledge to,and had established contact with them. In this forest,packs or tribes of wolves took shelter in this forest which sustained a relationship between the human rulers of that empire,the Lavon Empire and the largest packs of wolves.

Currently, rogue wolves ran rampant within the forest due to not having a pack or having lost their mate. These wolves had lost all sense of rationality and attacked anyone or anything including their own kind. No human, no witch or no supernatural could interfere in this phenomenon. After the couple noticed that something was off,they came out of hiding and looked for their baby daughter .

"Tracy!" They called out to no response .

They both used their perception to look for their daughter within palace grounds and upon negative results, they both came to a sudden realization. ' the enchanted forest!' they both exclaimed telepathically. On that day,all the maid servants in the palace received an immediate order to leave until further notice and they all scrambled in panic for they have never seen the emperor and empress behave that way.

And so,they ran. Even after running for more than a few hours, they still couldn't not find their baby. Luckily,the couple had their own secret, the fact that they weren't necessary human,and we're not even from that realm to even begin with so they were perfectly fine.

Although they knew that they would be in danger of attacks, they continued to search ignoring what was to come. Time moved and when they had now com to realization,it was already sunset but then a breeze blew the trees accompanied by a thick smell of blood.

Pained howls came from deeper within the forest and the couple did not wait for another second before turning into streaks of light and disappearing beyond the thick forest towards the direction on the noise and blood.

Ray and Leena hid themselves using magic while running .As they got closer and closer,the smell of blood got thicker and thicker. The two's speed accelerated and behold,there she was.

Their little princess sat there,in a pool of blood giggling happily and splashing the blood with vigor.

Around little Traylyn were corpses almost the size of an adult man. Wolves, precisely, rogue wolves, and were was more than a dozen of them.

After seeing this scene, Lee paled and instinctively wanted to expose herself but Raymond glared at her.

" Don't be rash. Wait and watch," he scolded telepathically making Lee shrink back her neck. Moments later,the rustling of leaves and the snapping of twigs alerted the royals. Unexpectedly,a white wolf emerged proudly from the thick trees with an entire pack following suit. The alpha,who was slightly larger than an adult man,walked slowly towards Tray,while the rest of the pack waited in anticipation.

The 2 year old Tray looked up happily and stared at the alpha then started giggling childishly. "Wanna pway (play)?" She asked in her cute baby voice. The alpha wolf continued to approach Tray and when she was finally in reach,the wolfs nuzzled his face in Tracy's little arms.

She reached out her little bloody hands to stroke the white fur which immediately dyed the white,red .

The alpha didn't seem to care at all and actually whined, urging the girl for more. The rest of the pack whined eagerly and started approaching one by one completely surrounding Tracy who smiled in glee.

Leena and Raymond looked at the scene and to simply put it....they were dumbfounded. They watched as a little white cub squeezed itself to reach the human girl . It whimpered with anticipation and directly threw itself into Tray's arms . They happily rolled around in the blood while the other wolves gave way and bowed seemingly showing respect.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

Feeling both their scalps go numb from the memory,the Empress and Empor looked at each other and nodded in silent understanding.
