REBORN HUBBY'S MYSTERIOUS WIFE

THEODORE V. SHANE
Haaa! Haa 💨
Theodore jerked open his eyes, gasping for air.
After a few moments, he managed to steady his breathing, slowly becoming aware of his surroundings.
His eyes roamed the room as he sat up, utterly shocked and in disbelief.
He scanned every nook and cranny, a lone tear falling as he realized how real everything seemed.
Just seconds ago, he was engulfed in flames, certain he had died—so how was he here now? Was his mind playing tricks on him, or was this heaven?
He shook his head on his delusional thought;
There was no way he could be in heaven, not after all the foolish things he’d done, all the people he had hurt.
No, this couldn’t be heaven.
But the room...it was the same as it had been during the best days of his life, back when everything was normal.
It had to be his mind playing games with him, or maybe this was his punishment—to be trapped in the memory of those days and reminded of how he had ruined everything.
THEODORE V. SHANE
(Yes, that must be it)
Sitting on the bed, Theodore looked around nostalgically, guilt weighing heavily on his shoulders.
He thought of the people he had betrayed, hurt, the ones who had been his real family.
His shoulders shook with grief, his heart heavy with regret.
Just then, as if on cue, a handsome young man entered the room, a towel wrapped around his waist, drying his hair with another towel.
Theodore looked at the man, emotions surging within him. He tried to speak, but the words caught in his throat.
He tried to speak, but the words caught in his throat. His eyes were red with fatigue and emotion.
THEODORE V. SHANE
A-Aiden *stutter*
THEODORE V. SHANE
Theodore stuttered, looking at the man with a mix of hope and guilt.
Aiden frowned, taking in Theodore’s appearance.
AIDEN RIVERA
I told you, but you didn’t listen. Now look at you...
Aiden tossed the towel onto the bed, running a comb through his hair as he glanced at his reflection in the mirror satisfied with his workout.
Theodore, already overwhelmed with guilt, felt each of Aiden’s words like a dagger to his heart.
THEODORE V. SHANE
Yes, if only I had listened to you...
He whispered, then, without warning, he rushed forward and embraced Aiden, profusely apologizing.
Aiden, shocked by Theodore’s strange behavior, pushed him away with a look of disgust.
AIDEN RIVERA
What the hell?
AIDEN RIVERA
Are you still drunk?
AIDEN RIVERA
Why are you being so touchy?!?!
He shouted, covering himself with his hands prying away from Theodore
Theodore, confused by Aiden’s reaction, continued to apologize.
THEODORE V. SHANE
I’m sorry, Aiden. I’m really sorry. If only I had listened to you... you always wanted the best for me, and I—
Aiden cut him off, still looking at him in confusion.
AIDEN RIVERA
What the hell are you talking about, idiot?
AIDEN RIVERA
Seems like yesterday’s hangover is still hanging around.
AIDEN RIVERA
Go take a fucking shower, idiot.
Still puzzled, Theodore kept apologizing.
THEODORE V. SHANE
I’m sorry, Aiden.
THEODORE V. SHANE
You can beat me if you want—
But before he could finish, Aiden landed a strong blow to his chest, making him stumble back.
AIDEN RIVERA
GO TAKE A FUCKING SHOWER AND CLEAR YOUR MIND!
Aiden snapped, irritated by Theodore’s behavior. This idiot had downed two bottles of whiskey the night before to win a bet against Kai, and it seemed the alcohol hadn’t worn off yet.
AIDEN RIVERA
I’ll check the infirmary for some hangover medicine.
AIDEN RIVERA
Go take a shower now, dumbass! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ
Aiden scolded him, sounding more like a frustrated mother than a friend.
Theodore, still not understanding Aiden’s out of sort behavior, thought that Aiden must be furious with him.
What did he expect—a reassuring hug?
THEODORE V. SHANE
I won’t go anywhere until you forgive me or at least tell me how to earn your forgiveness.
AIDEN RIVERA
TAKE A FUCKING SHOWER! YOU STINK! 💢💢
Aiden shouted, glaring fiercely.
Theodore flinched, then complied, heading to the shower like a scolded puppy.
Nobody messes with Aiden Rivera when he is irritated, there's high chances you find yourself buried six feet under.
After spending longer than necessary in the shower, trying to clear his head, Theodore stepped out, the warm water having done little to ease the storm of emotions within him.
He dried off, wrapped a towel around his waist, and hesitated before opening the door.
Aiden’s initial words still echoed in his mind, but he had to face whatever was out there, no matter how much it hurt.
As he stepped back into the room, he found Kai and Lucas, his other best friends he betrayed, lounging on the bed, chatting casually.
They both turned their heads toward Theodore as he entered.
Kai raised an eyebrow, smirking as he saw Theodore's disheveled state.
Lucas, who was scrolling through his phone, glanced up briefly before returning his attention to the screen.
KAISER D'CRUZ
Look who decided to rejoin the living,
Kai teased, his voice laced with sarcasm.
KAISER D'CRUZ
Feeling better after that little whiskey-induced coma?
KAISER D'CRUZ
How do you feel Mr 'I never lose' to lose a silly bet? 😏
Theodore’s heart tightened. Just like with Aiden, he felt an overwhelming need to apologize, to make things right.
Without thinking, he walked over to the bed and knelt in front of Kai, his eyes pleading.
THEODORE V. SHANE
Kai, I’m sorry
He said, his voice trembling.
THEODORE V. SHANE
I’ve been such an idiot.
KAISER D'CRUZ
Of course there's no doubt about it but...
THEODORE V. SHANE
I should have listened to you, to all of you. I’ve hurt you so many times, and—
Before he could finish, Kai’s smirk faded into a look of disbelief.
KAISER D'CRUZ
What the hell, bro?
KAISER D'CRUZ
Get up, man!
KAISER D'CRUZ
What’s gotten into you?
KAISER D'CRUZ
Don't kneel in front me all nxked!! 🤢
Lucas casually corrected him
Kai shouted at him in disbelief, of all think this dumbass is correcting his vocabulary
He reached down, grabbing Theodore by the arm and pulling him to his feet, his expression now one of genuine concern.
KAISER D'CRUZ
Are you seriously still drunk, dumbass?
KAISER D'CRUZ
You never apologize like this, especially not to me.
Theodore, still shaken, tried to explain himself.
THEODORE V. SHANE
No, Kai, I’m serious.
THEODORE V. SHANE
I’ve done so much wrong, and I need to make it right.
THEODORE V. SHANE
You and Lucas... you both deserve better from me. I’ve been such a terrible friend—
LUCAS MANTRIZ
Stop with the melodrama,
Lucas interrupted, his voice calm but firm. He set his phone aside and stood up, facing Theodore with a stern expression.
LUCAS MANTRIZ
You’re acting like this is the end of the world or something.
LUCAS MANTRIZ
Yeah, you messed up last night, but you’ve messed up plenty of times before, and we’re still here.
LUCAS MANTRIZ
So, what’s really going on?
KAISER D'CRUZ
Seems like he is still drunk
KAISER D'CRUZ
I heard beating can turn a drunkard sober
KAISER D'CRUZ
Should try some?
LUCAS MANTRIZ
And where did you hear this from?
LUCAS MANTRIZ
From the great Kaiser D'Cruz?
LUCAS MANTRIZ
God where did you stick me with so many idiots?
LUCAS MANTRIZ
Have some mercy on me ( ≧Д≦)
Just then, the door of the dorm room swung open, and Aiden walked in, holding a small box of hangover medicine.
AIDEN RIVERA
Here, take this,
He said, tossing the box to Theodore.
AIDEN RIVERA
Maybe it’ll knock some sense into you.
Theodore caught the box and looked down at it, his thoughts still swirling. His friends thought he was still drunk, and maybe they were right. But the guilt, the need to make things right—it all real.
THEODORE V. SHANE
I’m sorry,
THEODORE V. SHANE
I really messed up, I know I am even eligible enough to ask forgiveness
THEODORE V. SHANE
And I don’t know how to fix it—
Aiden rolled his eyes, cutting him off.
AIDEN RIVERA
For the last time, Idiot, you didn’t ruin anything.
AIDEN RIVERA
You just drank too much, like you always do when you’re trying to prove something.
AIDEN RIVERA
Now take the damn medicine and stop apologizing like you’ve committed some unforgivable sin.
Theodore's look at guilty if only he knew what things he has done.
Kai nodded in agreement, clapping Theodore on the back.
KAISER D'CRUZ
You’re acting like you’ve lost your mind.
KAISER D'CRUZ
Look, why don’t we head to the canteen and get some food?
KAISER D'CRUZ
It might not be five-star cuisine, but it’ll help soak up whatever’s left of that whiskey in your system.
Theodore hesitated, his mind still trapped in a loop of guilt and confusion. He couldn’t understand why they weren’t more upset with him, even if he is trapped in memory or some punishment why are they behaving like this
THEODORE V. SHANE
But I... I don’t want to lose you guys. I can’t lose you.
Lucas sighed, glancing at Aiden, who was clearly getting frustrated.
LUCAS MANTRIZ
Man, you’re not going to lose us.
LUCAS MANTRIZ
We’re your friends, and we’ve stuck with you through worse.
LUCAS MANTRIZ
Just like last 5 years
LUCAS MANTRIZ
But right now, you need to snap out of this weird mood you’re in.
Aiden crossed his arms, giving Theodore a stern look.
AIDEN RIVERA
First you should put some clothes on
AIDEN RIVERA
I hate seeing these abs better than mine (눈‸눈)
KAISER D'CRUZ
Whose abs you're praising,huh?
KAISER D'CRUZ
Do you forget mine? 😏 🤥
AIDEN RIVERA
How could I ignore football captain's muscle? 😒
AIDEN RIVERA
And besides, we can’t just wander off to the canteen.
AIDEN RIVERA
It’s the first day of our final year, remember?
AIDEN RIVERA
We’ve got to attend classes, plus there’s the orientation for the first-year students.
AIDEN RIVERA
We can’t miss that, especially not on day one.
AIDEN RIVERA
Remember, you were the one who offered to volunteer?
Aiden's remark made Kai scowl.
KAISER D'CRUZ
If it were not for that cute vixen junior, I would not have....
As they chatted and joked, Theodore stood there, watching them with a heavy heart.
For them, everything was normal, like nothing had changed—but to him, everything was wrong.
The guilt gnawed at him, making it hard to focus on anything else.
Then, suddenly, something clicked in Theodore’s mind.
He looked around the room, at his friends, at the familiar surroundings.
Why was he trapped on this particular day? What was so special about it that he was stuck here, reliving these moments?
He couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something important about today, something he was missing.
Theodore felt trapped, suffocated by the weight of his own thoughts.
