“Try not to scare the customers,” he teased.

Jungkook raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. “I make no promises.”
The day passed quickly, with Jungkook lending a hand whenever he could. He carried trays with ease, his movements graceful despite his intimidating presence. Customers stared, some whispering about the mysterious man who seemed so protective of Taehyung.
Taehyung didn’t mind the attention, especially when Jungkook’s help made his work easier. At one point, they found themselves behind the counter together, laughing as Taehyung tried to teach Jungkook how to use the espresso machine.

“You’re terrible at this,”
Taehyung said, giggling as Jungkook accidentally sprayed milk foam everywhere.
jungkook
Jungkook scowled, though the corners of his mouth twitched with amusement. “This machine is flawed.”
Kim taehyung
“Or you’re just bad at it,” Taehyung shot back, grinning.

Jungkook leaned closer, his golden eyes narrowing playfully. “Careful, Taehyung. I don’t take insults lightly.”
Taehyung laughed, feeling a warmth in his chest that he hadn’t felt in years.
