“Dad I told you I have handled the situation”

“Really son! Do you see how the entire city is talking about us. And our shares have dropped by 5%”

“I told you I have handled it and I will bring back double profit once I am officially the CEO”

“About that I am postponing that conference meeting until you clean up this mess” Mr Damon replied his son.

Alec clenched his fist.

“I will take the position on the decided day and that’s a promise. Nothing can stop me. I have worked hard to earn that position and not

because I am your son”

Mrs.Damon entered the dining room where the father and son duo have been arguing without even touching their food.

“Alright you two start your breakfast or I swear I am going to throw you both out and then you can talk all about business as much as you want”

Both the men stared at each other and knew they better follow her command or else she will really do that.

Mr.Damon knew how much his wife hated talking about work while eating as it’s not everyday that they get to eat together because of their busy schedule and also because their son lives in his penthouse house most of the times.

“But son can you tell us who that boy is? Have you two known each other from before”

“Mom you will know about everything today evening”

“What are you going to do” Mr. Damon asked

“I am going to show my enemies that their cheap tricks will not work with me and they will pay for what they did”

Later at 3:30 PM

Ryan was sitting in the passenger seat beside Alec. They have been driving for over 15mins now but none spoke.

Finally Ryan who was anxious spoke.

“Listen Mr.Damon”

“Call me Alec“

“Look! why don’t you just forget about this.

People will eventually forget once they get any other news”

“I am not a topic that they would forget so easily.”

Rayan rolled his his eyes in his head.

“But we can tell them that it was just a trap to defame you”

“I would consider that option but not when I have my pictures circulating on social media with hi** all over my body”

Ryan puts his down with a slight blush and whispering a tiny sorry.

They reached Alec’s company where the media conference was going to be held.

Alec unbuckled his seat belt and leaned on Ryan’s side startling him.

“Keep your mouth shut and play along. One

mistake from you and you will regret it.”

As they entered the place all the media

personnel were settled in their seat with mics and camera set.

Alec held Ryan’s hand and entered. As soon as they entered the camera flashes started, taking pictures of their every move.

“Mr.Damon who is this man” one of the reporters asked.

“This is my fiancé Ryan.”

“I wanted to keep him away from the eyes of people because my love here doesn’t like

attention but since you all have seen us there’s no point hiding.”

“We are getting married next week”

Ryan looked at Alec with complete shock.

Alec gave a light smile which is rare and turned towards Ryan pecking his cheek.

All the people were shocked and wanted to ask more questions like how did they meet when did they meet and if Alec was always into men because they have writtentte articles on him before aboutout his flings.

The questions dies in their head as Alec stood and took Ryan’s hand thanking them and

walking away the conference.

In Alec’s car

“What the hell was that. I am not marrying you”

“You do not have choice. This is the only way out. I do not want to lose more money and

definitely do not want to delay my promotion as the ceo”

“You becoming the CEO has nothing to do with me.I am out of this”

Alec held Ryan’s wrist and pulled him towards him.

“You are going to follow what I say. If not I can go out and tell them that you drugged me and took me to that room to take advantage of me for money”

Alec’s face was too closest intimidating him more.

“Trust me this is more believable to everyone as they know people would do anything to milk money from the rich”

Ryan felt so helpless. He had never imagined one night of fun would lead to this. He cursed himself for going there and more for letting this man do that to him that night. If only he had pushed him away the first time, he wouldn’t be facing all this but what can he do his heart and brain was not functioning when this handsome man followed him and his lips felt so good that he gave in to his desires.
