Alec Damon

Ryan groaned at the loud sound of the door. His head ached, and the noise was unbearable. With half-closed eyes, he stumbled towards the door, ready to shout at whoever had disturbed his sleep. But a sudden flash of light made him wince, forcing him to shut his eyes.

Before he could process anything, a swarm of ten to fifteen people surrounded him, cameras and microphones in hand, causing him to step back in confusion.

"Do you work at this club?"

"How many times have you met Mr. Damon?"

"Are you Mr. Damon’s boyfriend?"

These questions bombarded Ryan, who couldn't grasp what was happening. Why were reporters here?

Alec, still groggy from sleep, woke up to the commotion. His eyes narrowed with realization. He got out of bed and shouted, "Everyone out!"

The reporters froze, intimidated by Alec's stern demeanor, and slowly began to leave.

Alec closed the door firmly behind them. It was then that Ryan understood the situation.

He wondered who this man was, vaguely recalling meeting someone with "blue eyes" at the club. They had ended up in this room after Ryan rejected a dance and shared a kiss in the elevator.

Alec approached him, and Ryan instinctively stepped back. Both were shirtless, and as Ryan looked at Alec, he noticed marks on his neck and shoulder.

"Did I do this?" Ryan thought, shocked.

They locked eyes.

"Oh my god! I-I'm sorry," Ryan stammered. "I was drunk, and I... I hope you're not hurt. If you are, I can take you to a doctor."

"Stop overthinking," Alec cut him off. "Did you call them?"

"What?!"

"Don’t lie to me. Do you work for Calton?" Alec demanded.

"I have no idea how they found us," Ryan insisted.

Before Alec could respond, Ryan's phone rang. He quickly grabbed his shirt and answered the call from his friend Joy, assuring them he was okay and wouldn't be in the office today.

Alec put on his shirt and grabbed his keys to leave. Before exiting, he glared at Ryan.

Alone again, Ryan sighed.

"I hope I never see him again, though those eyes..." he thought, before leaving for home in a cab.

The next day, as Ryan prepared for work, the doorbell rang. Rushing to answer it, he was shocked to see Alec standing there, staring sharply at him.

Ryan moved aside to let Alec in.

"Why are you here?"

"Be ready at 4 PM. I'll pick you up," Alec commanded.

"Excuse me?" Ryan replied, puzzled by the demand.

"Why would I go out with you? Please leave; I’m late for work," Ryan urged, opening the door.

But Alec ignored him, walking over to the sofa and turning on the TV. A news broadcast displayed photos of businessman Mr. Damon with an unknown man in a hotel.

Ryan's eyes widened in shock.

"Do you not use social media?" Alec asked knowingly.

Suddenly, Ryan realized why his phone had been ringing incessantly since yesterday. He had ignored it, sleeping the day away.

As Ryan scrolled through his phone, tears welled up. He was being ridiculed and harassed online, accused of things he hadn't done.

"This isn't right. I was just out with friends. I don't even know your name," Ryan protested.

"Alec Damon," Alec stated, his distrust palpable.

"I'm going to introduce you as my boyfriend," Alec declared.

"Are you insane? I'm not going anywhere with you," Ryan protested.

"First, don't talk to me like that. Second, I'm still finding out who called those reporters. If I find out you were behind this, you'll pay for damaging my reputation. So be ready at 4 PM."
