"Look at you, you have grown so much taller now!" Yeonjun's mom Mrs. Lee cheered as soon as she saw Miae.

"Really? T-thank you!" Miae bowed and thanked her politely as she stood really close to her mother, despite her bubbly self, she tends to be very awkward when meeting new people or just people in general, expect for her friends of course.

Miae glanced at Yeonjun and now that she can see him even clearer she was awed by how handsome and tall he was, but she quickly averted her eyes when Yeonjun looks at her.

"Miae why are you just standing here? Say hi to Yeonjun" Miae's mother said with a controlled smile pushing Miae slightly, making Miae feel even more overwhelmed. She awkwardly laughed and look up at Yeonjun,

"How have you been…?", Miae said as she cleared her throat. She was indeed a very awkward person but she thought that after chatting a bit maybe they could be good friends again.

"Good" Yeonjun gave a short and simple reply not saying or asking her anything in return, which made Miae smile through the pain, the pain of the dealing with an ignorant teenager (possibly? still)going through puberty. The surrounding adults were also dumbstruck with how awkward things were between the two supposedly friends are.

"Should we have dinner together sometime? To celebrate Yeonjun's return", Miae's mother suggested which Mrs. Lee was more than happy to hear. Then the two family separated to their houses for the time being.

"I'm telling you!! It was like he's a different person! His voice sounds different, he grew so much taller- I think he's taller than you too! But seriously was it that difficult to just say back 'I'm good, how are you?', he just had to make things sooo much more awkward". Miae exclaimed her frustrating experience to Beomgyu, mimicking how Yeonjun behaved earlier. The two were on their way to Taehyun's house.

"I mean it's a given that he would change but damn he's taller than me?? Did he suddenly have a growth spurt?? Tell me is he more handsome than me?" Miae looked at Beomgyu in disbelief, before she smacked the back of his head.

"That's what's troubling you?? Help me out here!! My parents are going to invite them over for dinner this Friday!! Aaahh what should I do?? I don't want to meet him".

"Don't want to meet him? I thought you guys would be inseparable". Beomgyu said knocking the front door of Taehyun's house.

The door opened was opened by Taehyun who apparently have a white cast on his left arm.

"You look great". Miae joked making Taehyun roll his eyes as he moved aside so that the two can come in.

"I thought you would bring Yeonjun along too?" Taehyun asked Miae, "Why would I bother?" she crankily answered him as she walked to the sitting room, where Soobin and Huening were playing games. "Did i ask something wrong?" Taehyun asked Beomgyu confused to which Beomgyu just shrugged joining the crew.

"Ah! Let me draw words of wisdom on your cast", Huening Kai said taking out a black marker and stood next to Taehyun, giving him a puppy eye. Taehyun sighed but eventually let him draw on his cast. After writing something on Taehyun's cast, Huening hurriedly ran away hiding behind Soobin with a mischievous smile plastered on his face which made the rest of them curious. Taehyun eyes widened as soon as he saw the word 'loser' written on his arm cast, "Huening you son of a-"

Date : 28th July 20XX

Dear diary, today was one heck of a day, I reunited with a childhood friend of mine. At first, I was quite excited but then it turns out he was a guy whose tongue has been taken away by a cat!! He almost ruined my day!

Anyway apparently Taehyun broke his arm while skating yesterday and today the gang went to visit him, Huening actually wrote the word 'loser' on his cast and Taehyun ran after him for almost two whole hours! It was very funny though. I felt bad for him, so I picked up a red marker and wrote 'V' on the 's' part of the 'loser' like the one from the movie 'IT'!

Here's a picture to remember this day! :D
