Usual we celebrate my birthday by inviting everyone from both sides of my family and some special guests.But this year is a little different, a little special this year I am turning 18 so I decided unlike my past birthdays I will throw the party as usual but

"we won't be inviting many people. It will be just us and my close friends"

Yes yes yeeeeeessssssss I can finally invite my close friends it will be just us four raj, aadya and........Matthew

Matthew has been my best friend as long as I can remember. Matthew's mother was a dear friend of my mother so naturally Matthew and I became best friend. But recently Matthew started behaving weird as I told him that I was going out of the city for my studies and he change a lot after that, our friendship changed, we no longer spend time together like we used too. We started meeting less and less and whenever I tried to meet him. He would make up some excuse and get away. But not today it's impossible for Matthew to miss his best friends birthday. I will confront him then. And uncover the reason he is hiding from me.

I only invited 4 people including me. It's not like I don't have much friend. I do but I can't call them true friends. We are just doing our social role and it's all fake behind the curtain and I don't really like crowded places so I try my best to avoid them so it's just four of us. Both raj and aadya were my friends since 8th grade. At first we weren't that close but after 10th all three of us chose the same course and became famous as trio of humanity. Matthew was not in our class since he chose science bio he wanted to be a doctor and I am sure he would be a great doctor both in his work and in that white coat dashing with his good looks............ He is known as Ice prince in our school cause of his behavior and Aloofness. It's common to give each other titles in our school. Raj was given chubby bear as his check were quite fluffy and aadya was known as the nurse as she was always looking out for people and helping them. It became more prominent as she took psychology as her fifth subject. ( in our school if you choose any course you will get 4 mandatory subject and 1 optional subject)as you probably guessed we all had nicknames based on our personality so it was natural I also got one, well mine was not anything great. I often thought of it as mockery because who would call me a sleeping beauty. Ok I will agree to the sleeping part but beauty, nope if anyone was a beauty it would be Matthew. His long eyelashes, his blue eyes looked like a beautiful ocean. I would just drown in them whenever I looked at them, his skin tone tuning rose pink on every touch. I don't know why I always treated him different to me he was always my first priority no matter what. If anyone knows what I am like, who I am it's Matthew. He knows my darkest and dumbest moments, honestly he knows me more then I know myself. I can't really recall a moment where Matthew was not with me and now I was going away, it's quite selfish of me. At first I thought he was angry cause I was going for 4 years but that doesn't seem to be the case cause if someone is leaving wouldn't one try to stop them or try making full use of the time that they have with them but Matthew did nothing like that instead
