So that's Gray's story. It seems like he inherited it from his grandfather. He's into justice and fairness at all. That's why Gray sometimes finds him secretive. He really has something in his past.

"Amber, I don't want you to be involved in these things. This is mafia, Amber, and it's dangerous," he said gently but with a hint of threat.

"It's because I wanted to, Amber. Not because I know you're always with Gray, but because I just wanted to protect you. You're so weak and breakable." His eyes wandered on my face and he met my gaze, so I looked away.

"I'm not weak!" I quickly replied to him and grabbed the gun on his side. He was too late to stop me. I already got it first and aimed it at him. I pulled the gun's safety latch and Cooler raised both of his hands.

"I see. You're not afraid of a gun now. You never failed to surprise me, Amber."

"Yeah, I have to, to protect myself from you," I replied to him. "Where's Gray? Take me to him." I was surprised how I was able to hold the gun despite shaking.

"I'm sorry, Amber, but I can't. He's probab — "
