His eyes flash open, and he closes it again as the light was too bright.

Once his eyes adjust, he opens them once again and he gasps again, looking around.

Taehyung

💭 What happpened? Where's Jungkook? 💭

Clerk

Can I help you... dear?

He hears a voice behind as his eyes find the name of the store, perched high on the wall.

It was the jewelry store he had bought the necklace for Jungkook, and one for himself.

He sighs he shakes his head at the clerk and he makes his way out of the building again.

He was getting more and more confused by the minute. Why was he back here? Did Jungkook leave?

Was he alive?

He quickly finds his way back to the abandoned warehouse and he makes his way onto the roof.

Taehyung

💭 He left 💭

He whispers sadly, he was hoping he'd have more time with Jungkook. Just a day but of course that was too good to be true.

Taehyung

💭 He felt so real 💭

Jungkook

Tae...

Jungkook

You're here early.

He hears behind him, and he was eveb more confused than before. He turns to see Jungkook, he goes to speak but Jungkook speaks before he could.

Jungkook

Why weren't you at school, today?

Taehyung just stared at the other confused as he sat on one of the walls, staring him in the eye.

He didn't know what to say.

Taehyung

Where did you go?

Jungkook

What do you mean?

Taehyung

You were gone and...

Taehyung

we were just here talking and then I-

Jungkook

I have no idea what you're talking about, i've been at school all day.

Taehyung

but we...

Taehyung laughs, humorlessly. Was he going mad? Is he hallucinating?

He wanted to die, not get high.

Jungkook

You're confusing me.

Taehyung

This must be a dream, huh?

Jungkook

Are you sick?

Taehyung

I took a whole shit load of pills and now I think i'm going crazy.

Taehyung

I shouldn't be... you're not real.

He smiles sadly and Jungkook shakes his head at the other.

Jungkook

You're so weird.

He hops off the wall and he takes a few steps closer to Taehyung and he cups his cheeks, smiling up at the other before he speaks again.

Jungkook

If I wasn't real would i be able to touch you?

he giggles at the way Taehyung looks at him and then he just walks away, making his way back to the wall.

Taehyung

Jungkook, you di-

He gets cut off by his phone ringing in his pocket

Things were getting more and more weird.

He pulls his phone out before he answers it.

Mrs. Kim

Hey Taehyung, I need you to come home now. Your aunt is coming in and I want you to be here when she comes in.

Mrs. Kim

And don't tell me you can't because you're with Jungkook, tell him goodbye and come home.

She hangs up before he could respond and Taehyung sighs. He had so many questions.

He didn't know what was going on, everything felt so real. Too real to be a dream, but too good to be real.

Jungkook

You've gotta go?

Taehyung

I-

Jungkook

It's fine, I'll see you at school tomorrow.

Jungkook jumps off the wall and he hugs Taehyung for a second or two before he grabs his bag and he starts running away.

Jungkook

Text me later, okay?

He says as he started disappearing down the stairs and kicks at a stone near his foot before he started making his way home.

Everything was different, looked like how it look back then.

And then he thinks back...

everything he was seeing reminded him of back in 2018. Was he in...?

He pulls out his phone and he checks the date.
