Love,

I'm kind of proud of myself. I managed to share this with Kian without breaking down.

I continued to tell her our story, how we slowly went from mere classmates to being best friends. Do you still remember the time when you tried to apply for a job? I was trying to refer you as well, right? But you got accepted by a different company. That's fine, at least you had a job.

Can you also recall the times we were talking about our crushes? You had a crush on Paul, and I was entertaining another boy who only saw me on Zoom and we were a couple for 6 days. Didn't even reach a week. So, I couldn't consider him as my first boyfriend. It was more like a fling. During those times, I genuinely saw you as a friend — to whom I can share my craziness with.

Don't think that I was a two-timer, okay? Let me just make it clear. When I entertained him, I had no special feelings for you yet. I adored you, yes. I met you first before him, yes. But when we got to talk more often, I really treated you as my best friend. Then, when I was ready to share it with you, I told you our story. You were giving me advices too.

We were friends for months and when February came, that's when we got closer. We were given a project in one of our subjects. It was to make a short film. We were both the main characters. You being my son, and our classmate, Anton, as my spouse. I told you I liked his eyes because they look like that of a cat's.

You even teased me! But it wasn't for long since I heard he had a girlfriend that time and I don't want to ruin a relationship.

I told Kian that you also confessed that you like our classmate, Paul. You said he's also entertaining you. He's really flirtatious from what you told me. I acted as a bridge for you two because you know, I'm a huge fan of BL. However, I discouraged you from continuing since I don't see him being serious about you. I don't want you to get hurt because you're my friend. I treasure you a lot. That was after your birthday, right?

Speaking of which, I know I told you already that your debut was the first ever night party I attended. I didn't expect Papa to allow me since he is very strict, and you live far. Thankfully, he let me attend because I also promised you. I went with my Lianne, who, people thought, was my twin.

We're not! Okay?

It was so fun watching you celebrate your birthday with your family, friends, and workmates. You even sang and danced. I was recording and taking pictures the whole time.

Do you still have the gift I gave you?

It was a crystal ball music box. That was so cute that I even wanted to get one for myself.

I hope you still kept it in your room. You said it was your favorite because it helps you fall asleep at night.

I wish you didn't throw it away.

Love,

Aggie
