IF ONLY

Diana rushed across the road splashing water all around herself. To be seen excactly she was the prettiest girl in the rain. Though being the prettiest no one was looking at her. She herself did not have the time to look at someone. She entered her school quietly. The corridor was quiet on the way to 10th grade division A. Reaching the entrance of the class she saw at the far end of the corridor in front 11th grade division A were two handsome boys. She knew them pretty well, the whole school did. Jaeden Coleman and Theo Richard. They were the best looking boys in school and had many fangirls but the best friends did not care for anyone.

-Diana will you not come in dear?

Diana looked into her class. Mrs. Johnson her english teacher was looking at her smiling pleasantly. She looked at her for sometime and entered the class.

*How would it be if one of them liked me, I am not that beautiful but still I am good enough*

-Miss may I go to the bathroom. It is an emergency!

She walked right past them in her own world of musing. She did not notice anything around herself. The only thing felt by her was the presence of the boys. She wondered

-You know old Barry chose me for the inter school History competion. Collaboration with juniors is annoying!

-It would be okay if it is a girl right?

-Nope. The girls are more annoying. They have no brains man!

-That's true.

They giggled heartily. Unkown to her presence their. Diana smiled to herself. I am not like the girls they are talking about. Absolutely no.

-Hey you! Girl !

-Me ?

-Yes you, your back someone stuck it on you.

Jaeden pulled a paper from her back. It was written "I am a bloody nerd". Diana saw it for some time then sighed. There was nothing she could do about it. She was tired of complaining.

In her heart was nothing but emptiness...

She walked to her class and heard. But she only heard not listened. She felt as if there was nothing she could not do but she also felt if there was anything she could do. She felt hollow in the heart. The bell rang wildly. Everyone rose up from their benches but she remained resting on her desk and looking at the tree from the windows. The rain had stopped and a blissful sunshine was peeping out of the clouds. Their history teacher Mr.Barry Olsen came in.

- I will not listen to any gibberish after my announcement. Sit down all of you. Diana you are selected for the inter****school history competition. You will be able to choose one place with your companion and write everything you can about it. You have to create a proper video diary where you'll be telling about those places. A presentation with pictures and sounds and anything you can to gain better points than other schools. Your companion is Jaeden Coleman from11th grade.

Everyone gasped and groaned but Diana's heart skipped a beat....Jaeden Coleman....
