Seeing that the mission was done, Moon packed her sniper

“mission accomplished” she said into the walkie-talkie and walked down the building and checked the time, 5:42am, she got on her bike and zoomed off, she stopped in front of an orphanage, put on a brow down coat, removed her head warmer and tied her hair in a ponytail before entering.

“Good morning Miss Lucinda” the lady at the reception greeted, “morning Martha” she greeted back, I see you are here for Zachary and Zoey, that was the name of the twins Lucinda fancied, everybody in the orphanage knew her since she was a regular visitor there, the first time she went there, she had worked there as Alice Perry as an undercover for a mission 2 years ago, that was when she met those twins, four years old, they had blue eyes and brown hair, those eyes give her a nostalgic feeling.  they were so cute and adorable, she felt they looked familiar and also felt a connection with them, so when she had finished the mission, she came to the orphanage as Lucinda Carell and requested to adopt those twins, and she had been coming to see them every morning and evening ever since then.

“Did I just hear Lucinda”, a voice screeched from the hallway,

”yea, better bet you did” Lucinda said smiling, LUCY!!! The lady shouted again running to hug her, just then two adorable kids also appear in the hallway Mommy!!, they screamed happily and ran to her too, Lucy walked to them with her hands wide open and dodged the lady’s hug going to hug the twins,

“how are you baby” she greeted with a wide smile,

“we are fine, mommy are you taking us home today,” they asked hopefully,

“no baby, not now but very soon” she quickly added when she saw their sad face,

“mommy will come for you when she’s done with work okay” she assured them,

“okay” they chorused, here mommy brought something for you, she said as she hands them a bag, yay, thanks mom, they said happily and kissed her cheeks,

”not fair Lucy, not fair” the lady Lucy dodged whined,

“what? You expect me to leave my adorable babies to hug you, no way Alex, no way” Lucy said dramatically,

“but I missed u Lucy it's been ages I saw you”, Alex whined again,

“you mean, you last saw me yesterday” Lucy corrected.

“Okay, okay fine, but you are being mean to your bestie” Alex argued,

“okay bestie come over for a hug” Lucy finally give in and Alex jumped into her arm,

“here take, for you” she said handing Alex a polythene bag,

“aww thanks bestie” Alex thanked and pecked Lucy's cheek,

“you don’t even know what is there yet and you are thanking me” Lucy teased

“I trust you” Alex said and Lucy giggled,

“I should be on my way to work now ill drop by later in the evening, my regards to Granny and mother Mary” Lucy announced and the twin and Alex immediately felt sad,

“stay with us just for today Lucy, mommy”, they all said at once,

“don’t give me that look I’ll be back before you know it” Lucy said,

“okay mommy we'll be waiting for you” the twins said and one of the orphanage nannies came to take them back inside,

“bye Alex” Lucy waved goodbye,

“bye” Alex waved back sadly and Lucy left.
