Chapter 3: Who are you?

Vee's POV

"Vee wake up, come on Vee wake up" I was woken up by a deep echoed voice. As I opened my eyes I was in darkness. "Huh? Where am I? This isn't our room!" Where's my roomies? "Quin! Cass!" I ran around the dark room only to be stuck in an endless room of darkness. "Vee, don't be afraid" there it is again the deep echoed voice. "Who are you? Where am I?" "I'm sorry if I startled you Vee. I just wanted to meet you." meet me? Why me though?"

Suddenly a bright white light appeared in the distance. "Gosh that's blinding" I said as I look at the other direction. "Vee, I want to tell you that you will meet many kinds of people here. There are good people and of course there are evil people. But sometimes good can't necessarily mean that they are good and being evil doesn't mean that they are necessarily evil. Change is inevitable Vee. What ever path you go on, I will guide you and won't let you go in harms way to the best of my abilities." what? Good and evil? Guide me? "Wait, who are you?" "Who am I? You will meet me very soon my dear, just you wait. For now I have to go." the light that once was shining brightly was now fading to a dim light "Wait please, I still don't understand" I said chasing the light "You will my little cub, soon enough I will tell you"

"Wait, no ,please wai—" I was getting closer to the dimming light when I woke up gasping for air.

"Ha... ha... what was that?" Sitting up from my bed panting I grabbed the clock beside me and it was still midnight. Still panting, I wanted to catch my breath and maintain my composure first. "I need a glass of water" I whispered to my self. I got up from my bed and headed to the now empty cafeteria down stairs. What was that? I still don't understand. "For now let's just forget about that Vee" I said to my self as I sipped water from the cup.

*Crash

That startled me, what was that? "Awww... ha... ha..." I could hear someone heavily breathing in the room next door. Should I check it out? But what if it's some kind of monster or something. Just the thought of monsters scares me gosh. "No Vee, you got this girl" I whispered to my self. Everyone need some self encouraging from time to time right? "Well I guess here I go, ha...hoo.." breath in, breath out Vee. I saw a mop next to me and took it without thinking. "okaayy maybe I'm scared but just a little" "Arrgghh..." a hushed groan came from the room again that made my body jolt "Okayy fine I'm scared. Let's just get this over with. one... two.. three! Hiyaaaa~" I said weilding the mop around like a crazy person. "Oh God, you scared me" "I scared you? You sacred me! I though I was the only one awake" it was a boy, I could only hear his deep airy voice. As I got a little closer I saw him laying on the floor with his back against the wall. Wait I know this guy, this was the person I saw leaning against the pillar this morning. As I got more closer to him I saw that he had cuts and bruises all over his body! "Oh gosh, what happened to you!?" I said observing his cuts and bruises.

"Oh this? Ha... Ha... this is nothing. See?" He said then he touched one of his cuts "Aww.. tsss... well okay, it does hurt a little heh" he said holding his neck while sheepishly looking down smiling. "Umm.. do you need help? Where's the clinic around here?" I was about to carry him when he suddenly grabbed my arm "No wait, really, I'm okay, arrgghh." I could tell he was hurting just by the way he groans in pain. What I can't understand is why doesn't he want to be carried to the clinic? Isn't he also a student here? What should I do now? I want to help him somehow. Should I just do it? But the book told me to not reveal who I really am. Can I trust this guy? Should I just run and pretend I need to poo or pretend to have gone crazy or something? Urrhhgg no just the thought of that would be too embarrassing. Urrgghh fine this is a matter of life and death here. Sorry book. "Uhmm hey, bear with me for a sec okay? This might hurt a little." I said while putting my hands over his cuts and bruises "Hey, I know I'm handsome and everything but don't do anything inappropriate now" He said jokingly while laughing with a smirk on his face. Damn he is handsome... Oh wait what am I thinking.

"Tsss... Stop messing around. By the power of the air I command you! HEAL!" As I casted my spell all of his cuts and bruises started to disappear "Arrgghh... Oh, wow. Air user huh?" he said while he looked up at me. Wait, what is this scenario?!?! My face is seriously close to him right now! Oh gosh, what do I do, what do I do. "Well ehem, you're all better now I better get to my room before my roomies find out I'm missing" I said while I turned my head away from him. I can feel that my cheeks are burning. Arrgghh cheeks stop it.

Hari's POV

She was heading to leave when I caught her hand "Wait, I still don't know the name of the person who saved me yet" she was turned around from me but I knew she was blushing heh. That put a smile on my face, she was kinda cute. "Uhmm Vee, call me Vee. Bye!" She said as she pulled her hand away and dashed to the door. "I'm Hari by the way!" I yelled at her before she reached the door. "That girls something else huh" I said to my self smiling. "I guess I better head to my room now before that teachers find out." They mustn't find out. I won't let anyone know.
