Fated Encounters

We meet at last, traveller from beyond.

I have been meaning to hold a conversation with you for some time now, but you were asleep at the time.

And if its of no bother to you, then i would like to hold this conversation, now that you have woken up.

She said to me, as she awaited my answer.

But i was too shocked, or rather, i was too busy admiring her to pay attention to anything else, other than her. Which she seem to take notice of, but put no effort in breaking off my trance, as she herself seems to be falling into one of her own, as she continues inspecting me.

The both of us then stayed in our moment, gazing upon one another, without any care for anything else other than ourselves, as the time seemed to be frozen at the moment. With none of us willing to look away from the other, even for a moment.

But this trance was soon broken, when in unity, we both looked away from each other, together at the same time. Realising that the both of us had been starting at one another for quite some time.

Leaving the both of them feeling quite different emotions, from this encounter.

But none of the two could refute, that at the moment, they were both deeply attracted to one another.

Even though they didn't quite know it yet.

But their unknowing feeling to one another, will all be revealed in due time.

So let time works its magic, as we continue forward.

[MC POV]

What... Just happened?

It was like, one moment i was merely looking at her, but the next moment i knew, i was pulled into this strange... Trance, with the both of us just staring at one another. Unmoving, and undeterred.

It felt quite wierd, yet wonderful at the same time.

And I can't fully even describe what i just felt. But one thing i do know, is that this woman is turning out to be more and more intriguing.

.....And why does my face feel so hot all of a sudden?

Were the thoughts of the young man, who didn't even know what had happened to him, or what he was feeling. But it was to be expected, as this is his first time being out in the world. So he may not understand the emotions that just went through his mind.

But to Maleficent, who had almost experienced all there was to life, was left with a different train of thought compared to him.

[Maleficent POV]

Ahhhh!!! What just happened!?

What came over me just now!?

Just what possessed me to do something like this!?

I was just observing him, awaiting his answer, but to think that i would fall in a trance, just looking at him!

Ahh!!

Now he will think of me as someone weird! Unless he already does? ...Does he?

No! No! No!

I have to stay focused! Even though he looks so enchanting, and that beautiful face of his, i can't help but be drawn towards him.

.....Is this what they call 'love at first sight'?

She thought to herself, as her face began to heat up, until she looked like a tomato ready to be plucked.

Though, she was quick to hide the embarrassment that she was feeling right now.

*Cough* *Cough*

So, like i was saying before.

Can we... Speak for a moment? If its of no bother to you, of course.

She asked me again, as she once again awaited my answer.

But this time, i was quick to respond to her question, unlike what happened before.

Sure. I would love to have a friendly exchange with you.

Was my answer, which seems to have been the right one, if the brightened expression on her face said anything.

Great! Then let us be on our way.

I know a great place where we can have our much needed talk, and hang out.

She said to me, trying and failing to hide the excitement she was feeling. Which obviously didn't escape my eyes. But i kept my mouth shut regarding this, as i was just as excited as her.

Then she extended her hand to me, confusing me for a bit.

And as if sensing my confusion, she was quick to clarify the situation.

Um... you see... the place where we are going to is quite a long distance from here.

And uh... Flying there with me, would be much faster, and we would reach much sooner.

She said to me, though obviously hiding her last thought, which was not made known to me.

Though, her answer seems to clear my previous confusion. And even though i felt like there was something missing, i paid no mind to it. As the thought of flying high in the sky filled my mind completely.

And with that, i took hold of her hand, as we began to soar high above the clouds. Which was a complete different feeling, that made my blood pump high.

It was an exhilarating experience, to be able to fly so high.

The sensation of soaring through the air, feeling the weightless and sense of freedom. It was both a thrilling and calming sensation, unlike any i ever felt before.

With the wind rushing past my face, and the sound of the air whistling in my ears. It was both invigorating and soothing to me.

And the view from above was just simply breathtaking, with the world below appearing so small, and tiny for the taking.

The feeling of freedom and liberation that comes with flying seems to be truly liberating. This experience can be both peaceful and exciting, and can leave any with a sense of awe and wonder to those who experience it.

But nothing lasts forever, it seems.

As the closer we get to reaching our destination, the lesser i would be able to feel the winds above.

But one day! One day i would surely learn to fly, and make my grand return to sky, high and proud.
