Episode 13

The ground trembled, the wolves ceased, yet one in particular broke into a wild dash toward his mate.

Henrique's wolf was frenzied upon hearing the call, its speed escalating beyond the norm for a wolf. On reaching his partner, he halted at once and inhaled deeply, relishing her wonderful scent.

Upon seeing him, she acknowledged his presence and bolted, escaping from him. The chase commenced, and Wolf ran his greatest race, managing to catch her and leaping onto her, and she tumbled to the ground. He bit her neck and instantly claimed her body, taking ownership of the white she-wolf with intensity and determination, making her his own.

She lay flattened on the earth, feeling the weight of the wolf on her and the potency of his dominance by marking her. Her breaths were labored, and she struggled to free herself from the weight; he noticed and licked her nose to soothe her, and then slowly he dismounted from her form. He lay down by her side, licking her nose and the wound from his bite.

Realizing she was weakened by the ordeal, he hastened to hunt a deer, presenting it to her and aiding her consumption. She chose the finest portions, those rich in nourishment until she was satiated, then ceased. He nudged her with his snout, leading her to the river's edge where she drank and cleansed alongside him.

Upon their exit from the water, they shook themselves to rid the excess and he licked her anew. Henrique mentally communicated with the human part of the she-wolf:

"Come out, I want to meet you and claim you as my Luna."

"You will not like knowing who I am and what I can do."

"You are my mate, I cannot and will not reject you."

"And if I reject you?"

"Do not, or we shall wither."

"The spirit of vengeance dwells within me."

"What?"

Then the she-wolf faded, transforming into a human figure, and when she appeared, it was as a stunning female with long, near-white hair akin to her wolf form. Henrique gazed in disbelief that she was Luana.

He had suspected something strange about her, something that drew him, but never had he thought she would be his mate. Her wolf form was beautiful and strong, yet he did not trust her enough to deem her his Luna.

"I told you, you wouldn't like to discover it was me."

"It's just...I cannot explain...I did not foresee it being you."

"I knew you would say that."

Henrique had reverted to his human form, but his inner wolf was beyond agitated, infuriated even and forced its emergence, transmuting into the werewolf. He gazed at her blissfully and declared:

"MINE!"

"Yours?" — questioned Luana, bewildered by the unfolding events.

He swiftly drew nearer and with swiftness, he hoisted her onto his shoulder, darting to the cave beside the waterfall she deemed solely hers. He laid her down gently and subsequently licked her face and the mark on her shoulder.

"Mine, all mine..."

Luana felt at ease, her wolf enchanted, making her relish the attentiveness and warmth from the caring werewolf. He licked and aroused her, allowing her to gradually imbibe his presence. He knelt and relished her intimacy, savoring the taste and ensuring she was well prepared.

Subsequently, he gazed sorrowfully and positioning himself, parted her legs, whispering:

"Pain..."

She comprehended his concern that it was her first time and that pain was inevitable due to his size. Nonetheless, he entered her gradually and her cry was piercing. The pain seemed as though it would cleave her in two, but it swiftly abated.

Her wolf was content, emanating a healing aura that negated the agony, fostering her capability to mate with one so grand in size. Shortly he finished, and she felt serene; he bit her, she reciprocated the bite, and their mating was complete.

Weary, she succumbed to sleep. He arose, reverting to his wolf form, sprinted to the mountain peak, and bellowed a resonant howl, signaling he now had a mate. Many wolves echoed the howl, and some approached him; together they surged through the woods.

Elias edged closer to the group, gazing at the Alpha and howled interrogatively, a query about his daughter's whereabouts. Unaware that Luana was Henrique's Luna, he was fraught with worry after scouring the forest without a trace of Luana.

"She is well, we mated, and she sleeps."

"She is your mate?"

"Indeed, categorically, she is MINE!"

"Then why are you here and not with her?"

Elias failed to realize the werewolf was speaking; Henrique was not in his full command. His wolf, sensing hesitation, commandeered control, securing the precious Luna, to prevent her loss.

They reveled until late, hunting, feasting, frolicking, leaping, and wearing themselves out. Henrique then bathed in the river, returning to his mate, only to discover she was gone.

"Luana, Luana!"

He delved deeper into the cavern in search of her with lupine eyes, but she was nowhere. He then tracked her scent trail, yet even outside, she was not to be found.

"How could she vanish just so?"

He opened the connection, addressing Elias:

"I require assistance; Luana has disappeared."

Elias neared a frenzy, that was his precise apprehension. Unaware of how those within her would react, as the shaman's magic weakened with age.

He raced to the locale Henrique signified she was. Constantly sniffing the air, discerning the scent of his daughter or an interloper.

Upon arrival at the cave, the scent of mating was unmistakable, confirming its consummation.

He scrutinized Henrique inquisitively, desiring details of the event.

"What? You don't wish for me to recount the occurrence, do you? You know full well the nature of mating."

"Were you tender, or did she suffer pain and grow resentful of you?"
