This time, I was awoken by a tremor, I opened my eyes, the hut where my frail body laid was shaking violently, Ayi's mother whispered from my bedside whilst shaking her husband

"They're here!" The man, without a second thought arose from the bed like the undead and started tossing items into a sack, "They really don't have much do they?" I thought to myself.

Ayi's mother ran up to me sliding her palms under my back when, her husband grabbed her hand and shook his head.

Ayi's mother shakily whisper shouted "YOU... YOU CAN'T EXPECT ME TO JUST LEAVE OUR CHILD HERE!"

Her husband replied quietly "Our child Larzia? Did you think I didn't notice its ears? Larzia you're lucky I clipped them before the village chief noticed! Without me that child wouldn't even be alive right now, I saved that child because I saw the love and compassion in your eyes when it came out, love and compassion you haven't shown even me for ever so long..."

Ayi's mother dropped her head in anger, with her body visibly shaking, she replied " LEAVE! , I'll save my child, you go and run away like the great protector that you claim to be!"

Larzia pushed him out of the hut and grabbed a small box, placing Ayi gently into it. She paused for a second taking a small green necklace from around her neck and placing it onto Ayi's, "Ayi, even if you are to die....I won't let these people kill you, I'll come back for you someday and give you a proper burial...I promise you Ayi!" She covered the box and pushed it into a small hole in the walls.

The sound of shouting men and the galloping of horses arrived to Ayi's mother's house, "Get in woman, you know what to do."

Soon after, the village was so quiet that I could almost forget what had happened previously.

The voice of V interrupted my memories once again, "This was the life of young Ayi, now, you will take her place, using her body as your vessel and find your power."

"Really V did it have to be a starving baby tho?"

"Shut up Raya." V replied smugly.

V returned my soul to the body of Ayi.

"Now Raya, it is time we feed you, so you can grow big and strong!"

A bottle popped out of thin air, landing in my mouth.

"Hey V, how come you get to do that? I thought you can't create without R's power?"

V sighed "Raya, I didn't create it, I took it from another dimension, the mother will just think she misplaced the bottle and purchase another whereas she probably won't even notice the missing milk."

I attempted to suckle on the bottle to no avail, V sighed once more "It seems this is going to be much harder than I thought."

A tall, pale slender woman appeared in front of me "I can't remember the last time I took on this form, Raya you better be worth it!" She exclaimed.

V's robotic voice was gone, and replaced by a smooth feminine voice, her brown curly hair wrapped carelessly around her head and shoulders, her brown eyes shining like precious stones under the sun.

"V.... you're a beauty!"

V replied "Just because I can hear you Raya doesn't mean I want to."

V took the bottle up into her palm, attempting to make me latch, but I couldn't, this body is too weak.

V sat on the only bed in the room, with me in hand, and sat me upright. She pinched the sides of my mouth open gently, whilst pinching the nip of the bottle. Although I couldn't latch, she was still forcing the liquid into my throat, my body barely allowed me to swallow.
