Chapter 4 A book with Many Problems

A person dressed in black with a helmet entered the hospital and went to the Nurse at the desk.

"Excuse me?" its voice made her feel scared

"Did a lady named Mary Ausburn stay here?"

"Yes, she just left with some Government Agents" she answered nervously

"Thank you" it left laughing to its self

"Agent Zair, we meet again"

"So where is that boy, Troy was it?" Molly asked D

"Lives on main street" D handed her the coat she was wearing

"Just remember my next visit won't be as great as this time maybe even blood so the choice is yours" she said smiling at D leaving him a little intimidated, whispers and laughs were in th air hos gang was laughing at him

"Shut up!" he yelled as he threw the table

"Pick that up" he yelled at his minions as they scattered doing his orders

"I'm visiting my boy early"

Mary and the Agents enters the shop called the Minute when Whit saw his new customers come in he smiled in greed seeing money makers walking in

"How can I help you?" he smiled crookedly

"Did you recently receive a package?" he looked at Mary recognizing her British accent, he had feeling not to mess with them

"And why do you wanna know?" he asked knowing the truth

"Cause it was mine"

"I got a package but its gone, I sold it"

"What!!!!" Zair who had no patience grabbed Whit by the neck and looked him straight in the eye

"Look! If you don't tell us who you sold it to, I will shut this place down and you will go to jail for lying to a federal Agent, Do you understand?"

"Yeah, let me go now" Zair put him down and he straighten his clothes

"I gave to kids for free"

"What kids?" Knight asked

"They're street kids ok, I don't know where they live but I do know someone who does"

"Who?" Mary asked

"Darius, he owns those streets, find him and he'll know"

"Where are is Darius?" knight asked

"Ask the gangsters" They started to leave but Knight had a feeling someone was following them

Molly entered the Minute shop awhile after the Agents left

"Molly, so nice to grace !e with your presence"

"Nice to see you too, Whit" they hugged like old friends

"So what's the Queen of New York doing here?"

"Collecting debts"

"D must owe you money"

"Yeah, 500 to be in fact"

"That kid is an Idiot"

"I know he is a fool to think I care about him, I only take kids in so I can raise an army not a family"

"Kids are so gullible to think that they're loved" Whit said smiling

"So what's with the kids, Troy and the blonde one?" They heard the bell rang and looked at the doors direction to see a person dressed on full black with a helmet on came to the desk

Mary, Zair and Knight meters the safe house as a H.Q for the Agents

"We're staying here till the !mission is over" Knight explained

"Before we go after the kids, we need to know why it wants the book" They also sat down at a table to listen

"The book was found in 1506 since then it has been passed down to my family the Ausburn, Father to son and I am the only first born daughter in this legacy but when the book got to my Grandfather he lost it . My Father went looking for it, he had to travel the world but he died never to find it so I took my father's journal and went to a village in Canada. That's were I found out my Father was killed here by what they called a curse but I knew someone killed him. The Elder of the village told me about a Protector that kills anyone with possession of the book but I found it and took it, I got as far as New York then you know the rest" Knight was !ore interested in the person than the book

"If we can get the book before our Fugitive we can trap it" Knight said having a plan

"Lets find the kids first" Zair said

"They're not normal kids, they're street kids" Mary added

"I know someone who knows these streets"

"who?"

"They call her Molly"

Whit liked at his customer and Molly looked at Whit for an explanation

"I am looking for a lady named Mary Ausburn" Its computer voice gave Whit the chills whole Molly stood frozen

"Someone came by with some Government Agents looking for a book" Whit said scared

"Where did you send them?"

"To D that's all I swear" It started leaving then a phone started ringing

"Hello?" It answered

"Find it quickly" another person with the same voice said

"Don't worry I will" it left leaving a dark chill on them

"Well, see you around Whit" Molly said leaving the shop, she pushed up her coat feeling the cold air

"Molly!" someone called she turned around to find one of her people calling her

"What is it?" she wss handed a phone call

"This is Molly speaking"

"Its Agent Zair and you owe me a favor" Zair said on the opposite end

"Zair, oh how long I have waited for your call"

"We need to talk, Molly"

"When and where?"

"Tonight a the Deli"

"Can we trust her?" Knight asked Zair

"No, but she's good at giving information"

"We're not suppose to be handling people like this" he said worried

"Sometimes we have to break the rules in order to get what you want" She said boldly

"No we don't! Going by the book is safe"

"That's not how I roll"

"You Americans think everything thing if we don't do it your way"

"Americans, I'm sorry I am not the Queen of England but I am in charge of this mission and what I say goes"

"Calm down, right now" Mary said walking in the room, Knight looked away in disgust and Zair slammed her fists on the table

"Look we all have to work together partners or not"

"Oh, I'll be to work if that American can actually stop being lazy" Knight left the room with those words

"Ugh! English people are so annoying!" she said after Knight left

"Zair, I'm English"

"I know but I can tolerate you" Zair led leaving Mary to think of Knight might survive the night or maybe even herself.

Troy looked up at the sky on their way home, it was almost 6pm and he knew the streets were dangerous at Knight. Cal looked at his new and wondered what was inside even if Troy told him to read at home but a peek wouldn't be bad

"What!!!" Cal yelled getting Tory's attention

"What's wrong?" he asked

"The book! its empty!" Cal said flipping the pages

"Let me see" Troy took the book from Cal

Its not empty " Troy said swing words and numbers in it

"Yes it is" Cal took the book from Troy and showed him the page again, he wondered what Troy was seeing. Troy felt a pain in his arm but brushed it off, but the feeling got worse than ever before falling unconscious he screamed in pain

"Troy!!!!!" Cal called but even if he pushed Troy he wouldn't wake up

"Please wake up!" Cal said crying but he didn't notice the 'G' on the book was glowing
